Confirming her suspicions, the waitress pointed a finger at her blonde co-worker who was busy serving an old couple a few tables down.
“KENNARD!” Bette screamed indignantly, garnering attention from all corners of the busy restaurant.
Managing a polite smile, albeit a tight one, Tina excused herself from the table she was serving to attend to a fuming Bette.
The waitress beside the angry brunette slinked away as Tina glided towards F4′s table, looking all confident and in control.
“You bellowed?” Tina arched an eyebrow as she stopped right beside Bette, her hand resting on her hip.
“Garden salad and water?” Bette choked out, barely hiding her contempt.
“So I guess you ordered more than one dish?”
“She ordered five.” Alice answered for Bette while she read Dana’s text message on her iPhone. Distractedly, she recited her friend’s orders from memory. “Spinach and artichoke dip, tenderloin something, two slices of pizza, pasta, cake..”
“And bottomless iced tea..” Sam added.
“Yeah, nasty glutton.” Alice mumbled as she continued typing her response to Dana.
“Thank you Al and Sam.” Bette said dryly. Whose side are you on? She gave them both the evil eye. With a resound sigh, she pouted at her girlfriend. “You know I have no qualms about eating vegetables, but right now I want real food..”
Tina shook her head. “Sorry, no can do. It’s either garden salad.. cobb salad.. ceasar’s salad.. any kind of salad or healthy food and water. Its that or starve.”
Bette’s head actually snapped back at girlfriend’s ultimatum. The nerve! “Uh, Shane? This waitress of yours is rejecting my orders. Isn’t the customer always right?” She narrowed her eyes at her friend, giving her “the look”. Unbeknownst to her, Tina was doing the same to Shane.
“Uh.. I’m really not going in between this..” Shane lifted her hands to the side and wisely distanced herself from the bickering lovers.
Bette scowled at Shane before facing her blonde dictator once more. “Since when did you start caring about what I eat?”
Tina stuck her nose up and matched her girlfriend’s gait. “Since last night.” She raised an eyebrow, daring her stubborn lover to object.

See… My heart dropped at page 30. I knew something sad was on its way. I really love how you write. So good! Soooo good! But please fix this. It’s too good to end it like how I think it is. Unless you’re doing it like the show which has a chapter 2.

i absolutely love, love love this story and i get frustrated at the length of time between posts but when you post you soooooo make it for it!! The way you write these two (especially Bette) is just brilliant even though its quite obvious Bette is whipped by Tina i’m not sure it’s all gonna go Tinas way this time…can they really be parted long term?!! pps!

Wow, a 33-page update. You’re an awesome writer, Alchemy. The lovebirds’ “unique” reviewing method in the last chapter is awfully funny! :> I’m not familiar with HYD but I have a bad feeling on how this story is gonna end. So Alchemy, if I go down on my knees and beg, would you consider deviating from the probable gloomy ending of that story and give us a happy ending instead? I don’t know how their relationship will survive such distance and painful parting. There’s enough gloom in the real world right now what with the global recession and all the other shit that when I retreat into the fictional world of these young, horny lovebirds, I just want to see them happy, together and in love. Please, please fix this ending, Alchemy. Anyway, thanks a lot for sharing this story and writing these lovely, kilometric updates! And Merry Chrismas to you and your loved ones!!! :>
