CHAPTER FIFTY THREE: For You, Anything
The Planet. Saturday Afternoon.
Over at the corner of the famous bar-restaurant in West Hollywood, two heiresses sat around a rectangular table, enjoying a lazy afternoon in each other’s company. Oddly enough, though they were hanging out together for hours, they couldn’t be farther apart – with each teen deeply engrossed in their own little world. While one girl was busy making art out of toothpicks and spitballs of napkin to pass the time, the short-haired one right next to her was discretely eyeballing every customer in a skirt in hopes of finding new meat to feast on.
An ignorant observer would think that they were not in good terms, but those who knew them well would say that muteness wasn’t atypical behavior for the two. Being the group’s most laidback and easygoing members, Shane and Sam were prone to share these kinds of moments. They were always mindful of each other’s personal space and found comfort in the fact that they could do their thing in relative silence without making the other feel uncomfortable. Knowing that the quiet cocoon encapsulating them both was destined to be broken, and it wouldn’t take long because they were expecting Hurricane Alice to come barging through the door in a few minutes, made them treasure their time together more.
After what seemed like an eternity of artistry and ogling, a third teenager dropped down on the empty chair opposite them and unceremoniously dumped her belongings on the table, effectively killing the lazy peace that had been established between the two. Shane and Sam exchanged brief smiles and gave out the smallest of sighs. Both of them thinking the same thing. Goodbye peace and quiet.
Looking at Alice, they waited for the blonde to open her mouth and begin her rapid fire way of speaking.
In five.. four.. three.. two.. and one..
Complete silence.
Hmmm..
Well that was an unexpected letdown, two sets of brows piqued up.
Instead of yapping away like a chihuahua on crack like she was prone to, Alice Pieszecki defied all expectations as she sat there, silent and still. No jokes, no wisecracks, no sudden outbursts. Nada. Needless to say, it was disconcerting for the two dark haired girls sitting before her.

See… My heart dropped at page 30. I knew something sad was on its way. I really love how you write. So good! Soooo good! But please fix this. It’s too good to end it like how I think it is. Unless you’re doing it like the show which has a chapter 2.

i absolutely love, love love this story and i get frustrated at the length of time between posts but when you post you soooooo make it for it!! The way you write these two (especially Bette) is just brilliant even though its quite obvious Bette is whipped by Tina i’m not sure it’s all gonna go Tinas way this time…can they really be parted long term?!! pps!

Wow, a 33-page update. You’re an awesome writer, Alchemy. The lovebirds’ “unique” reviewing method in the last chapter is awfully funny! :> I’m not familiar with HYD but I have a bad feeling on how this story is gonna end. So Alchemy, if I go down on my knees and beg, would you consider deviating from the probable gloomy ending of that story and give us a happy ending instead? I don’t know how their relationship will survive such distance and painful parting. There’s enough gloom in the real world right now what with the global recession and all the other shit that when I retreat into the fictional world of these young, horny lovebirds, I just want to see them happy, together and in love. Please, please fix this ending, Alchemy. Anyway, thanks a lot for sharing this story and writing these lovely, kilometric updates! And Merry Chrismas to you and your loved ones!!! :>
