    Tina_Kennard: So the dumper becomes the dumpee. How’s Shane holding up?

    Bette_Porter: Her ego’s bruised but she’ll survive – eventually. Heard she was still in shock, Al’s trying to snap her out of it.

    Tina_Kennard: How?

    Bette_Porter: With tequila, most probably.

    Tina_Kennard: Of course. Typical Alice.

    Tina_Kennard: So what’s the deal with Carmen?

    Bette_Porter:Allegedly, she went to UCLA for a tour and hooked up with the tour guide behind Shane’s back. Heard she got enamored with something about circles. What that is, I don’t really know. But Shane’s out for blood – more so for being publicly humiliated than anything else – and Al, well.. you know how she loves drama. She wants us to start plotting Shane’s payback right away.

    Tina_Kennard: Sounds devious and shady.

    Bette_Porter: Don’t forget juvenile and fun.

    Tina_Kennard: And you’re on board with this?

    Bette_Porter: Of course.

    Tina_Kennard: But Carmen’s your friend..

    Bette_Porter: Yeah, but Shane’s family. And you don’t mess with family.

    Tina_Kennard: But you do know that she’s got it coming right? How many hearts did she break before someone beat her to the punch and broke hers? Just saying, K-A-R-M-A baby.

    Bette_Porter: True, but still. You can’t turn your back on family – no matter how fucked up they can be at times. So what do you say, wanna come with me?

    Tina_Kennard: I would love to but you know I can’t. It’s father-daughter bonding time in the Kennard household..

    Bette_Porter: Aw  Sucks that you can’t be there but I understand. Give Ken a hug for me.

    Tina_Kennard: Sure. And give one to Shane from me too. We’ll continue this later?

    Bette_Porter: Yup. Don’t turn your laptop off. I’ll send you a PM as soon as I get back. I won’t be too late, I promise.

    Tina_Kennard: Take your time. And take care, k? Love you.

    Bette_Porter: Love you too. Bye..

    Tina_Kennard: Bye..

    Alice hovered menacingly over Shane as Bette and Sam looked on in silence. Between the four, pieces of paper and a handful of photographs lay scattered on the mahogany table. It was eight in the evening, the girls were exhausted from all the planning and brainstorming – but none more so than Alice, who was the mastermind of the whole operation.

    8. This has/is an incredible story. I look for it daily and was so glad to see a post today. Please say it isn’t so, Your not ending it are you? Their still young and have slots to go through. A sequel maybe?.

    11. WOW!!!!! I just got a chance to read all 37 pages of it-it was a long one…but well worth it. I can understand why Bette went ahead & left-but Tina will be hurt…but I think she will understand. I hope they can work through this & I can’t wait for the next update. Great job.

    12. *Sniffle* Oh dear, this has got to be the saddest JTG chapter. *Sniffle* So begging on my knees didn’t work. *Sniffle* I don’t know how they’ll ever get to eternity when it’s hard to say they’ll even get to survive the next 24 hours, weeks or months apart. *Sniffle* I hope Tina will still change her mind but if not…then, *Thank you very much* for this lovely, funny, sometimes sexy high school TiBette tale.     17. Hey Alchemy! So glad to have you back with another chapter, but extremely sad that the end is coming. I have loved this story from the beginning as your writing is incredible. I have the feeling Tina had decided to go with Bette, but will maybe stick to their plan now that Bette has left. Bette’s letter had me teary-eyed which is one of the best things about your writing… one minute I’m laughing out loud, the next I’m choked up. Thanks for the post.
