    B&T 9 years after season 1: Eli meets the girls

     

    Eli: "It’s really great to meet you, mom used to watch you all the time when you’re matches were televised."

     

    Dana: "Really? Al, Tina watched me on t.v."

     

    Alice: "Of course she did baby you look great on television."

     

    Dana: "Thanks…Oh I’m going to go get Jack I want him to meet you. Don’t go anywhere."

     

    Eli: "I’ll stay put until you get back."

     

    Eli turned to Shane next. While Kit was standing next to Bette, with her arm around her little sister.

     

    Shane: "Hey Eli it’s really good to finally meet you. I’ve heard great things about you, maybe we can hangout some time." They hugged for a bit.

     

    Eli: "Cool, and maybe I could meet the rest of your family."

     

    Shane: "I think that could be arranged." Shane smiled at how much like Tina Eli really was.

     

    Eli then walked over the Kit and Bette.

     

    Eli: "I’m sorry I didn’t tell you who I was yesterday."

     

    Kit: "Oh come here, don’t even give it another thought I know now that’s all that matters." Kit pulled Eli into a big hug that didn’t look like it’d be ending anytime soon.

     

    Alice: "Hey don’t smother the poor boy."

     

    Kit: "Oh shush Alice. Guess what Eli I brought you some more of that cheesecake you like."

     

    Eli: "Thank you. That’s really nice of you."

     

    Kit: "You’re more than welcome you need anything else just ask me."

     

    Alice walked over to Bette.

     

    Alice: "Hey Bette, no fair she’s angling to be the favorite." Alice said tilting her head toward Kit.

     

    Eli and Bette started laughing. When Dana and Jack came back.

     

    Dana: "Eli I’d like you to meet Jack."

     

    Jack: "Are we really cousins."

     

    Everyone was a little anxious at what Eli’s reply would be because even though they thought of Eli as family they weren’t sure if Eli did.

     

    Eli: "Yeah we are. You are officially my first cousin."

     

    Jack: "Really."

     

    Eli: "Yeah and when I meet Anna I’m hoping she’ll be my second." Eli looked questioningly over at Shane for approval. Shane nodded her approval with a smile. At this point everyone else had a few tears rolling down their cheeks.

    3. Dainty is very smart. To put two and two together .Elizabeth Porter and Eli Porter Kennard. Eli reminds me of Bette so knowledgeable and always ready to learn more. He will love Bette the way Tina does forever. He have surrounded with lots of love and a Mom that knows heart ache. I caught the He wasnt a woman and some one else had her love.     4. This story is definitely a winner. I just love it and the way you’re unfolding the different characters. Dialogue is excellent and I do appreciate the longer chapters. I can really get engrossed in it.

    7. This story is awesome! I hope there is nothing wrong with Tina and that her naming Eli after her 1st love, is only because she missed and loves her so much. The story is happy and upbeat and I hope if there is any drama, that its minimal.

    19. well i just read all 10 chapters and i love this story… i am so glad they are nice to each other over the phone and that tina didn’t go crazy when bette started to yell about taking eli back… when she was going to ask bette to keep him for the week… so now when tina comes to visit… i hope she also gets to stay with bette… she has plenty of room… please continue

    24. I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT. Uuummmmm, love the story or couldn’t you tell. This was a fantastic chapter, so happy that everyone got along so well as I knew they would. Just knew that everyone would love Eli and just surround him with lots of love and most of all Bette would love him more, and his mother. Can hardly wait for Tina to get there just possibly the next day. I don’t believe she will wait another 2 or 3 days, if she is not already in California. I hope she will explain that since he was a boy she oculd not name him Elizabeth, so she shortened the name to Eli Porter, makes sense to me. Post again soon, please.
