    B&T 9 years after season 1: Eli meets the girls

    Bette rushed through the hotel lobby, and pulled out her cell phone to call Eli.

     

    Eli: "Hello."

     

    Bette: "Hey Eli it’s Bette."

     

    Eli: "Are you here to pick me up?"

     

    Bette: "Yeah I’m in the elevator I should be there in less then a minute."

     

    Eli: "Okay but Sara’s not going to be able to come with us today."

     

    Bette: "Why not…um never mind I’m at the door."

     

    Both hung up the phone and Eli ran to open the door. Where he greeted Bette with a hug, which made Bette breakout in a hug smile as she hugged him back.

     

    Bette: "So why can’t Sara come with us?"

     

    Eli: "Well this morning after we came back from breakfast. The Stevenson’s older daughter Claire called. She goes to school at Berkley, anyway she’s out for the summer a week earlier then expected so they’re going to go to San Francisco ahead of schedule."

     

    Bette: "How about Mrs. Stevenson isn’t she still sick?"

     

    Eli: "Sort of but she’s feeling better. The hotel doctor said she’s okay to fly. This way they’ll get to spend an extra week with Claire."

     

    Bette: "When are they planning on leaving?"

     

    Eli: "The plane leaves tomorrow morning."

     

    Bette: "But what about you. I mean wasn’t your mom supposed to meet you down here at the end of the week. Is she going to fly down earlier or are you going to San Francisco and she’ll meet you there?"

     

    Eli: "Mom wanted you to call her."

     

    Bette pulled out her cell phone as Eli walked over to the adjoining room.

     

    Bette: "Okay I’ll call right now…hey where are you going?"

     

    Eli: "I have to finish packing."

     

    Bette’s head was spinning. Everything was going great how could Tina do this. Bette was starting to get worked up she really believed Tina when she said that she could get to know Eli and then this happens. Damn Claire I wouldn’t be in this situation if it wasn’t for her I was going to show him around L.A. and we were…

     

    Tina: "Hello, Tina Kenn…"

    7. This story is awesome! I hope there is nothing wrong with Tina and that her naming Eli after her 1st love, is only because she missed and loves her so much. The story is happy and upbeat and I hope if there is any drama, that its minimal.

    24. I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT. Uuummmmm, love the story or couldn’t you tell. This was a fantastic chapter, so happy that everyone got along so well as I knew they would. Just knew that everyone would love Eli and just surround him with lots of love and most of all Bette would love him more, and his mother. Can hardly wait for Tina to get there just possibly the next day. I don’t believe she will wait another 2 or 3 days, if she is not already in California. I hope she will explain that since he was a boy she oculd not name him Elizabeth, so she shortened the name to Eli Porter, makes sense to me. Post again soon, please.
