“We are changing into dry clothes. I am just helping you.” She smirks.
“Take your jeans off.” I am finding some clothes from my wardrobe and quickly put on a shirt and pants before Shane sets my body on fire again.
“Yes, ma’am.” She replies playfully.
I chuck her some clothes. “That will do, you are so slim, and my clothes will look very loose on you!”
“Don’t worry. They are coming off soon.” She says with a straight face that I cannot help but laugh.
She helps me dry my hair first. Then I went to talk to mum alone and let her dry hers in my room.

I am standing in the corridor but they are in a heat conversation and didn’t notice me.
“Carmen, are you two getting back together?” I heard Mrs Morales asks Carmen.
“Mum, I think so… We haven’t really talked about it yet.” She answers.
“I don’t understand you. She is fire, you will only get hurt.” Her mum is trying to talk some sense into her. I don’t blame her though.
“Mum, there is no guarantee in a relationship. I believe that she won’t hurt me intentionally. You didn’t know that Dad could hurt you too, right?” she defends me.
There is silence. Then she continues when her mum doesn’t response.
“I love her to pieces and I know she feels the same way. If I don’t give us a second chance to see if we could make things right, I will always wonder what would happen. I needed this, mum. If it doesn’t work out then I will accept fate and move on. But right now, I cannot think about anyone else but her.” She says with watery eyes.
My heart cannot take this anymore. I rush to her side and hug her tight. “Carm, I love you.”
She let out a relieved sigh and smiles happily at me.
I continue to hold her preciously and look at her mum and say, “Mrs Morales, I know you told me to stay away from Carmen before. I know I have hurt her, you and your family before. I realised that it was the biggest and stupidest mistake I have ever made. I don’t expect you to forgive me but please give me a chance to make it up to her.”

I’m so glad Shane gave Carmen the diary,there really was no other way to make sure Carmen knew how she felt. Three days of marathon sex is pretty much how I would expect the reunion of these two to go…*hint hint IC, take notes on this fic for ideas for season 5* You did a totally kick ass job on this fic, it was a pleasure to read.
