Alice – not me I’m afraid Shane I’m a little tired.
Lucy and Helena both looked at eachother and nodded
Lucy – that ok with you Al
Alice – yeah no problem I’ll give you a key.
Bette – nope not me I’m afraid I have an early appointment tomorrow.
Tina – I think we better head back so that angus can get home.
Shane – how about you Dana?
Dana – I’m going to give it a miss to if that’s ok, I’ll help Alice clear up.
Shane – ok ladies thank you for a wonderful night it was great, come on you to brits how about you show us Americans how to party
Lucy – not a problem mate, I’m ready to party for England – she laughs
The women said their goodbyes and made their ways to their prospective destinations, Dana went outside and started to clear up, Alice was walking back through the kitchen she stopped at the doorway and watched as Dana cleared up.
Alice – Dana, stop don’t worry I will finish up in the morning.
Dana – its ok Al I’ll do it
Alice – look Dana, please, come in, sit, talk to me.
Dana walked into the kitchen and sat at the table next to Alice.
Alice – about what you said earlier, did you mean it
Dana – yes every word, I’ve never stopped loving you Alice.
Alice – then why, why did you break my heart? Why did you just talk to me all those years ago, why did you just let me self destruct. why didnt you tell me?
Dana – because I was a coward, it was too hard Al I’m sorry, I can say I’m sorry a thousand times and I know it wont make any difference, it wont take away the hurt I caused you, but I was so scared Alice
Alice – scared? Scared of what?
Dana – scared because I had never felt that way about anyone before, scared because you loved me so much you gave all of yourself to me, and I was scared that I couldn’t give you all the love you deserved.

I really missed your story! I’m glad all the misunderstandings are dealt with. :D Dana really has do A LOT when it comes to Alice trusting her again. It will take a while…probably a very long while. But if Dana’s stick around and stays persistent, shlice’s heart again. (She already won Jake over. ;))

So glad you’re back with this story. I love this side of them. Hope Alice makes Dana fight for her and Jake.
I’m happy Dana finally told Alice how she was feeling. But I’m especially happy that Alice’s reaction was realistic. I’m glad she didn’t immediately fall into Dana’s arms again.
Great post and it’s nice to see that you’re back! I love this story and I find it very realistic. I just hope that Danish get together sooner rather than later, but rebuilding that trust will prolly take a while. Anyways, I can’t wait to find out what happens next, so please post soon:)

I read it and later I realize that I didn’t comment, how foolish of me. I think this was a great chapter Alice is right not to trust so soon that was an extreme break up for the poor girl and I can see where she’s coming from. I do want to see them together so I hope that’s in the cards. I also loved the donkey too. great job
