    London to LA ch13

Alice is dumbstruck, she stands staring at Dana, stunned by her words. Her eyes beginning searching Danas face to see if the words spoken were in haste or truth.

Dana – I love you, you fool, I’m not seeing anyone, I haven’t been with anyone for a long time now, all I think about is you, all I want is you, but I’ve been to afraid to show you how I really feel.

    Alice – Dana I . . . . .

Dana – its ok, you don’t have to say anything, I just needed you to know.

As soon as that was said Dana turned and walked out of the kitchen and back to join the others. Leaving a very stunned and shellshocked Alice “she’s still in love with me”

Shane noticed Dana’s hasty retreat from the house back into the yard and watched her friend as she sat quietly staring at her reflection in the pool.

Shane knew something was up, but where was Alice, she walked into the house to find Alice still standing in the same spot as when Dana left her.

Shane – so Al, can you do me a favour and add some ice cream to that pizza order I have a craving

    Alice – huh

Shane – ice cream, need some, order with the pizza, hello earth to Alice

Alice – yeah sure no problem

Shane – are you ok Al?

Alice – yeah fine, all tickety boo here

Shane – tickety boo! God you watch too much children’s TV

Alice ordered the pizza’s and the ice cream, took a deep breath and walked back out to join her friends around the pool.  The evening passed, Dana and Alice occasionally stealing glances at eachother but neither of them really engaging in conversation with eachother.  Lucy and Helena seemed to have hit it off again and spent most of the evening telling hilarious teenage stories, and before they knew it, it was 1am and time for them to make a move.

Shane – so who’s up for a bit more drinking and maybe a little dancing, I’m going to the planet to meet up with Carmen

    1. I really missed your story! I’m glad all the misunderstandings are dealt with. :D Dana really has do A LOT when it comes to Alice trusting her again. It will take a while…probably a very long while. But if Dana’s stick around and stays persistent, shlice’s heart again. (She already won Jake over. ;))

    2. I’m happy Dana finally told Alice how she was feeling. But I’m especially happy that Alice’s reaction was realistic. I’m glad she didn’t immediately fall into Dana’s arms again.

    3. Great post and it’s nice to see that you’re back! I love this story and I find it very realistic. I just hope that Danish get together sooner rather than later, but rebuilding that trust will prolly take a while. Anyways, I can’t wait to find out what happens next, so please post soon:)

    4. I read it and later I realize that I didn’t comment, how foolish of me. I think this was a great chapter Alice is right not to trust so soon that was an extreme break up for the poor girl and I can see where she’s coming from. I do want to see them together so I hope that’s in the cards. I also loved the donkey too. great job
