Alice – I was scared to you know
Dana – I know, I know now, and I have done since the day you left, it was the most stupidest, selfish thing that I have ever done, I threw you away, I’ve spent the last five years knowing that and praying that one day I could make it all better and have another chance.
Alice – so where do we go from here
Dana – that depends on you , I love you, I don’t want to lose you again, I want to make the hurt go away, I want you, I don’t want to live my life without you. I understand if you need time Al, you know to think about all I have said. I think we still need to talk, I have so much that I want to say to you.
Alice – I need time Dane, this is huge
Dana – Alice can I ask you something? – Alice nods – do you still love me?
Alice – yes you know I do, I always have, but its not that simple Dana.
Dana – I know but believe me when I say that I want to make things right.
Alice now has her elbows on the table and her head in her hands, she can feel the tears beginning to form, she stands and walks over to the counter she has her back to Dana who has remained seated.
Alice – I’m not sure that I can go through this again, I wouldn’t survive, I wont go through that again, not now I have Jake, he needs me. I have to be strong for him.
Dana – but Alice, I promise I’m not going to leave you
Alice – I don’t know that, you have left before, you can leave again.
Dana – but Al I know the mistakes I made, please give me another chance to show you how much I love you, I’m begging you. I’ll spend the rest of my life making it up to you
Dana is now stood directly behind Alice tears streaming down her face.
Alice – I’m sorry I can’t do this, its too hard

I really missed your story! I’m glad all the misunderstandings are dealt with. :D Dana really has do A LOT when it comes to Alice trusting her again. It will take a while…probably a very long while. But if Dana’s stick around and stays persistent, shlice’s heart again. (She already won Jake over. ;))

So glad you’re back with this story. I love this side of them. Hope Alice makes Dana fight for her and Jake.
I’m happy Dana finally told Alice how she was feeling. But I’m especially happy that Alice’s reaction was realistic. I’m glad she didn’t immediately fall into Dana’s arms again.
Great post and it’s nice to see that you’re back! I love this story and I find it very realistic. I just hope that Danish get together sooner rather than later, but rebuilding that trust will prolly take a while. Anyways, I can’t wait to find out what happens next, so please post soon:)

I read it and later I realize that I didn’t comment, how foolish of me. I think this was a great chapter Alice is right not to trust so soon that was an extreme break up for the poor girl and I can see where she’s coming from. I do want to see them together so I hope that’s in the cards. I also loved the donkey too. great job
