    London to LA ch13

Dana – tonight then, have dinner with me

Alice – I don’t know, I’ve kinda got company Dana, its Lucy’s first night in LA and I was going to invite you guys over for a few drinks.

Lucy – hey Al don’t worry about me I can entertain myself

Alice – no don’t be silly, so Dana would you like to come over tonight for wine and pizza

Lucy – oh my favorite wine and pizza, and beer Al don’t forget the beer

Dana – ok if that’s the only way im going to get to talk to you Alice

Alice – ok that’s settled then see you at 8.

Dana turned and left, she had no idea how things had gone so wrong. Alice now had to call the others and invite them over, truth was she had no intention of inviting them tonight she just couldn’t think of any other excuse not to have dinner with Dana.  Alice thought she knew what Dana was going to say to her, tell her that they should be friends and nothing else, but as usual she was totally wrong, jumping to conclusions again. Truth was Dana wasn’t any better, by the time she had gotten home she had totally convinced herself that Lucy was an old flame of alices from London. Tonight was going to be very interesting indeed.

    Chapter 13

Time was getting on and Lucy wanted to talk to  Alice before people started to arrive.  Alice had managed to get hold of everyone, and everyone except for Carmen was going to be there tonight.  In a way Alice was looking forward to seeing everyone again, she had been so busy concentrating on getter well that she had slipped back into her old ways and not kept in touch with her friends as she vowed she would.

Lucy – you did have to do this you know Al, I would have been happy just to sit and watch TV.

Alice – I know, it just kind of slipped out, but it’ll be fun.  I just didn’t want to hear what Dana had to say that’s all.

Lucy – what makes you so sure you know what she’s gonna say, you seem to have it all figured out

    1. I really missed your story! I’m glad all the misunderstandings are dealt with. :D Dana really has do A LOT when it comes to Alice trusting her again. It will take a while…probably a very long while. But if Dana’s stick around and stays persistent, shlice’s heart again. (She already won Jake over. ;))

    2. I’m happy Dana finally told Alice how she was feeling. But I’m especially happy that Alice’s reaction was realistic. I’m glad she didn’t immediately fall into Dana’s arms again.

    3. Great post and it’s nice to see that you’re back! I love this story and I find it very realistic. I just hope that Danish get together sooner rather than later, but rebuilding that trust will prolly take a while. Anyways, I can’t wait to find out what happens next, so please post soon:)

    4. I read it and later I realize that I didn’t comment, how foolish of me. I think this was a great chapter Alice is right not to trust so soon that was an extreme break up for the poor girl and I can see where she’s coming from. I do want to see them together so I hope that’s in the cards. I also loved the donkey too. great job
