“You’d lost Tina…And you were kind to me also.” Helena laughed, receiving Bette’s kisses. “Remember Phyllis’s party?”
“oh…ummm…I was stoned…” Bette wrapped her arms around Helena’s waist, pulling her close. “I think I fucked you in the pantry. Poor baby, did you ever have to pay Alice back for all that caviar?”
Helena nodded. “But she was very generous, and really didn’t ask for all of it in return…I wish…I wish I had the money to pay her for everything that she’s done for me.”
“I don’t want money you silly munchkin…” Alice walked noisily up to her two amorous friends, her boots crunching in the leaves. “I’m sorry to interrupt, but dinner is served.”
“Dinner already? We’re getting late starts on these days, aren’t we?” Bette grinned, glancing at her watch. They walked back toward the cabins, and Bette slung an arm through Alice’s.
At the benches table, Max and Jenny were arguing about something. Shane watched them carefully, but noted that for once, she was on Max’s side instead of her best friend’s.
“We should put the garbage into the ground…” Jenny said, gesturing around them. “The dirt…the food should go back into the dirt and become dirt itself.”
“Jenny, there might be bears, none of us know a thing about them around here…and if we put the food too near to the cabins, they’ll come here for sure.” Max took it upon himself to serve everyone, which made the women even happier than he’d come. His bouts of sexist ranting had long since passed, and he was becoming a good guy.
“But the dirt…the dirt…” Jenny sat down with a sigh, feeling persecuted yet again. Then she let it go, and changed the subject. “So, Tina, how are things at work?”
The group stifled a groan, but Tina had already worked out her feelings on the matter. “Things are good.” She said carefully. “You should drop by sometime. We’ll go over the latest script changes if you like?”
“Sure…” Jenny was speechless for at least twenty minutes, eating her yogurt and granola carefully and searching for something to worry about.
“So guys…what should we do for Dana’s memorial?” Shane looked at Alice first, who shrugged and peeled an orange.

OK, so that move to London bit was out of left field and they might have to see if they can buy werewolf repellent if they go. And if we didn’t get much sex out of that, there were quite a few laughs, hard to say which is better in the long run. Loved Kit perturbed by a normal Jenny, which is of course stunning. Liked Tina’s story, too. But as attractive as a move to London might be, I really think Helena needs to face the music over here before she goes.
okay…so what’s up with the moving to london??? hmmm…can’t wait to see how that goes…anyways, i love the bonding the women had with each other even with Jenny’s crazy ass. I can’t wait for the new chapter! Thanks and PPS!
Loved loved loved tina’s story…see this is the tina i like…simple, no craziness, no fickle-ness…good, granola tina…so to london, it is? I say Helena has to get her life together before she takes a leap across the pond.
I am NOT a Tibetter but a LITTLE part of me wanted to see bette with tina in this chapter =O how crazy is that? I mean I LOVE B and H together but I like Tina in your fic :confused: hehe this chapter was great!!! PPS!
I too love the bonding of these core characters (thanks for nothing, IC), and sympathetic Tina as well. I’m guessing normal Jenny is a temporary aberration.
