Just then, Carol came running from the darkness, and smashed the man off their car. As he fell to the ground, Angela and Carol began pummeling him, lecturing to him all the while about scaring people like that…about terrorizing women, and what he would get for it.
They kicked the shit out of him, and walked away, hand in hand, to find the nearest gas station.”
The women burst into applause.
“That was an excellent version.” Bette laughed, patting Tina on the back.
“Very very.” Even Jenny laughed, realizing that while it wasn’t the best told story ever, it was the story that needed to be told. “And did they get over their control and power issues and work things out?”
“Oh yeah, and they had crazy sex in a hotel room for days after that.” Tina waved her hand at them, grinning. She stifled a yawn and checked her watch.
Soon after, Wilson called for Helena. Then Jun Ying needed to use the washroom as well. Then Angelica needed a glass of water and another goodnight kiss from Tina and Bette and Kit and then Helena and the rest had to follow. By the time the children were asleep again, the adults were tired as well.
Tina and Alice stayed up late, telling one another scary stories and putting feminist twists onto all of them. The rest began to make their way to bed, including Helena and Bette who searched Alice and Tina’s faces for hints of disapproval. Instead, they were met with friendly waves goodnight, and a wink from Alice.
Bette hugged Helena to her as they fell asleep, smelling her sweet sleepy scent and burrowing her nose against dark hair.
“Bette?” Helena awoke sometime in the early morning, late night, and turned over to kiss her girlfriend awake. It took a few minutes. “Sweetheart?”
“yeah?” Bette’s voice was groggy. She wrapped Helena in her arms again, and started to fall back asleep.
“Nevermind.” Helena said quietly. She wanted Bette to offer, before she asked her. She wanted to ask her and for the answer to be a simple yes. Hell, she even wanted Tina to come with them, for Angelica’s sake of course. She wanted them all to come.
She wanted to move to London. For good.

OK, so that move to London bit was out of left field and they might have to see if they can buy werewolf repellent if they go. And if we didn’t get much sex out of that, there were quite a few laughs, hard to say which is better in the long run. Loved Kit perturbed by a normal Jenny, which is of course stunning. Liked Tina’s story, too. But as attractive as a move to London might be, I really think Helena needs to face the music over here before she goes.
okay…so what’s up with the moving to london??? hmmm…can’t wait to see how that goes…anyways, i love the bonding the women had with each other even with Jenny’s crazy ass. I can’t wait for the new chapter! Thanks and PPS!
Loved loved loved tina’s story…see this is the tina i like…simple, no craziness, no fickle-ness…good, granola tina…so to london, it is? I say Helena has to get her life together before she takes a leap across the pond.
I am NOT a Tibetter but a LITTLE part of me wanted to see bette with tina in this chapter =O how crazy is that? I mean I LOVE B and H together but I like Tina in your fic :confused: hehe this chapter was great!!! PPS!
I too love the bonding of these core characters (thanks for nothing, IC), and sympathetic Tina as well. I’m guessing normal Jenny is a temporary aberration.
