Before the blonde could explain herself, Shane spoke up in her behalf – much to her chagrin.
“She and Coffee Girl are having this silly academic contest, I think whoever gets the best grades wins. From what I hear, Dana is a straight A student. So you see, the B hurt Al’s already bleak chances of winning.” Shane enlightened Sam with a nasty grin plastered on her face.
Alice straightened up and flipped the lothario a finger. A naughty Shane retaliated by sticking out her tongue.
“What’s the prize?” Sam sipped on her cup of coffee, ignoring the childish antics of the two.
“Nothing, just bragging rights.”
Shane made a disapproving face. “That’s so lame. If I were you, I would’ve asked for something fun like I dunno, being the other’s sex slave for a day. That way, there are no real losers and both of you benefit from the stupid contest.” She pointed out to a blushing Alice. Sam bobbed her head up and down in agreement.
“Eh.. yeah.. right.. whatever..” Alice mumbled, attempting a weak smile. Biting her tongue, she stopped herself from divulging the real terms of her bet with Dana. Normally, she wouldn’t hide secrets from her friends, but since her girlfriend made her swear to keep things between the two of them, she decided to shut up. Much to her surprise, keeping her silence didn’t kill her. Heey.. maybe she could do this secrecy thing after all. Maybe. She smiled inwardly. She wanted to be the top on their first night together, but well, since her girlfriend probably won the contest with her straight A’s, she would have to give up control and let Coffee Girl take the lead. Dana Fairbanks topping Alice Pieszecki? Shit, they were never gonna make it past second base. Or.. maybe she could prove her wrong, Alice mused. The thought was enough to make her palms sweaty and her throat dry. Suddenly feeling hot and dehydrated, she reached over to drink from Shane’s glass of water. As she did so, she finally noticed Sam’s toothpick masterpiece. “Is that a penis?!” She pointed, squinting at the image.
Sam rolled her eyes, feeling slightly offended. “No, its a worm coming out of an apple.”

See… My heart dropped at page 30. I knew something sad was on its way. I really love how you write. So good! Soooo good! But please fix this. It’s too good to end it like how I think it is. Unless you’re doing it like the show which has a chapter 2.

i absolutely love, love love this story and i get frustrated at the length of time between posts but when you post you soooooo make it for it!! The way you write these two (especially Bette) is just brilliant even though its quite obvious Bette is whipped by Tina i’m not sure it’s all gonna go Tinas way this time…can they really be parted long term?!! pps!

Wow, a 33-page update. You’re an awesome writer, Alchemy. The lovebirds’ “unique” reviewing method in the last chapter is awfully funny! :> I’m not familiar with HYD but I have a bad feeling on how this story is gonna end. So Alchemy, if I go down on my knees and beg, would you consider deviating from the probable gloomy ending of that story and give us a happy ending instead? I don’t know how their relationship will survive such distance and painful parting. There’s enough gloom in the real world right now what with the global recession and all the other shit that when I retreat into the fictional world of these young, horny lovebirds, I just want to see them happy, together and in love. Please, please fix this ending, Alchemy. Anyway, thanks a lot for sharing this story and writing these lovely, kilometric updates! And Merry Chrismas to you and your loved ones!!! :>
