“Um, that one kid!”
“Exactly see I told you-”
“In 1st year! Bobby Whiteside, I thought he was really cute!” Ashley interposed abruptly cutting her sister off in mid-sentence.
“You threw a rock at him!” Kyla argued.
“Well it was my way of offering him my affection. It wasn’t my fault he cried,” Ashley tossed back. She shrugged her shoulder as if to imply that the boy couldn’t of handled her anyway.
“Ashley, he was in the hospital for a month!”
“So he should have closed his eye!”
“Oh my freaking god. Just admit it! You like this girl. You had a conversation with her and you wanted to kiss her!” Kyla had caught her. Ashley wasn’t sure what she felt but she knew she didn’t exactly hate Spencer. Still, she didn’t want to lose the argument.
“Oh my god. Stop the intergalactic press, she offered to take me back to her apartment. We went, I got shoes, she hugged me.”
“You went back to her place?” Kyla asked incredulously. “You slut!”
“It so wasn’t even like that-”
“Wait. She hugged you. You had extended contact. You altered her life. You messed with time!” Kyla exclaimed. Ashley had had quite enough of her sister. She bent her finger back until the younger girl was squirming on the ground.
“Say your mother is a scum sucking alien from mars,” Ashley threatened. Kyla kept her mouth shut and her older sister yanked back on her finger a little more.
“My mother is a scum sucking alien from mars!!!!!!!” Ashley smiled and released Kyla’s finger. The younger girl cradled her hand as if it were a treasure she’d secured off of a pirate ship.

I really liked this chapter. The Ashley and Kyla banter is funny. I really want to figure out why Spencer gets stabbed and how Ashley saves her! PMS!

Umm…kind of a late reply but…I really really love how you write out the interaction between Kyla and Ashley…you are probably the best Kyla writer on this site. I’m all for Ashley and Spencer but I love when people delve out into other characters…you are one of two people who do it really well. Just all around great writing here, i’m a little hooked and i’m kinda glad I don’t have to wait for updates!
