    “You saw a stop light! NO WAY! And you a dog?! Oh my god that is so- wait… you met a girl? And she wouldn’t leave you alone?” Kyla dragged the last sentence out slowly and Ashley looked at her quizzically.

               

     

     

     

     

    “Yeah, some writer.”

               

     

     

     

     

    “Please tell me you had no actual conversation with her!”

               

     

     

     

     

    “Well. Define Conversation..” Ashley said grimacing.

               

     

     

     

     

    “Oh god.”

               

     

     

     

    “I know.”

               

     

     

     

     

     

     

    “Oh god. Do you realize what you’ve done?!” Kyla yelled. Ashley gave her a look and twisted her finger to the right causing Kyla to squeal loudly in pain.

               

     

     

     

     

     

    “Maybe nothing. We don’t even know the machine’s effects and it’s not like I kissed her or anything!”

               

     

     

     

    “Wait who said anything about a kiss! Oh my god. You’re into her!” Kyla gasped. Ashley began to shake her head no at once.

               

     

     

     

    “You know that’s prohibited. And don’t even talk about the past. We aren’t even going to go there,” the brunette said defensively.

               

     

     

     

     

    “Yeah I know.. and you know.. but you obviously feel something for this girl you met,” Kyla said probing a little deeper into the mystery unfolding before her eyes. Ashley avoided eye contact and twisted her finger just a little more.

               

     

     

     

     

    “I do not. She was irritating. That’s all. End of story. And she let me borrow some shoes.”

               

     

     

     

     

    “And you aren’t irritating? Tell me Ash, when have you ever liked a boy?” Ashley scuttled for an answer. Anything to placate her curious little sister.

               

     

     

     

    “I’ve liked boys!” A lame comeback but it was all she had.

               

     

     

     

    “Name one.” Kyla said defiantly. Ashley wrenched her finger back enjoying the look of discomfort that flashed across her younger counterpart’s face.

    9. Umm…kind of a late reply but…I really really love how you write out the interaction between Kyla and Ashley…you are probably the best Kyla writer on this site. I’m all for Ashley and Spencer but I love when people delve out into other characters…you are one of two people who do it really well. Just all around great writing here, i’m a little hooked and i’m kinda glad I don’t have to wait for updates!
