    I’m still in love with her…and that’s what scares me.

                        “I like surprises.” I shrug. She smiles at me, shaking her head. Then as soon as the music in the movie comes on, I lose her attention.

                        “Yeah, you’re just lucky Jess wasn’t here.” I’m surprised she’s still talking to me, with the movie and all.

                        “Yeah…” I didn’t really want to talk about Jess today, considering I hate her. Well not really hate her, I just hate the fact that she gets to be with Ashley.

                        “Where’s Aiden anyway?” And there’s another subject I don’t really want to talk about.

                        “Probably basketball.” I sigh. All of her attention is on me right now, thank the lord for commercials.

                        “Uh oh, trouble with the happy couple?” Happy couple? Who said we were a happy couple? I mean I love Aiden, I do don’t get me wrong, it’s just…I’m not in love with him.

                        “I don’t even—“

                        “Wait, wait…shh, shh, shh.” That was the shortest commercial break I have ever seen. I smile at how quick her attention can be averted, and throw my pillow at her.

                        “What?”

    1. Uh oh first comment. Go me! But this chapter is really good. I really liked the flashback, I can kind of relate. Hopefully Spencer will get the nerve to talk to Ashley about everything going on in that head of hers. I’m sure this isn’t easy on Ashley either. Keep posting and I’ll keep reading.
