    I’m still in love with her…and that’s what scares me.

                        “You’re an ass.”

                        “Hey…that was a good part.” She attempts to defend herself.

                        “Whatever.” I scoff.

                        “I’m sorry…I’m sorry, what’s up?” She’s mere inches away from me now, completely disregarding all the head chopping going on in the screen.

                        “Nothing, it’s just…I don’t think this whole Aiden thing is going to work out.” I confess, wanting to get it off my chest. Also wanting her opinion.

                        “Really?” She sounds relieved. Or so I think she does.

                        “Yeah…”

                        “Um, care to explain?” Yes, I don’t like him like that, but I do like you…more than that actually. Would it be too soon to admit that?

     

    Yeah, I think so too.

     

                        “No…not really.” I play it off.

                        “Well too bad, you interrupted my alone time…so spill.” She mutes the television, so that all her attention is focused on me. Only me.

                        “I can leave if you want.” I point to the door with my thumb, already getting up, knowing that she’s going to stop me.

    1. Uh oh first comment. Go me! But this chapter is really good. I really liked the flashback, I can kind of relate. Hopefully Spencer will get the nerve to talk to Ashley about everything going on in that head of hers. I’m sure this isn’t easy on Ashley either. Keep posting and I’ll keep reading.
