I Could Never Forget About You – (Chapter: You did what?)

“I can’t.” It’s not possible, trust me I’ve tried. I’ve tried for four years, and it hasn’t gotten me anywhere.

“But you have to.” I wait a couple seconds to digest his words, until I decide to be honest with him, and myself.

“I’m still in love with her…and that’s what scares me.” The tears are falling freely from my eyes. He rushes over to me from across the table to comfort me, rubbing soothing circles on my back.

                        “Spencer, shut up.”

It’s a Friday night, there was nothing to do. Aiden is out god knows where, probably playing basketball with Glen…not really sure though. So here I am, sitting on Ashley’s couch watching Jason.

“I can’t help it, why the hell are we watching this?” I ask, taking a break from all my squealing to ask her the question that’s been on my mind this whole time. I can’t even look at the screen…how sad is that?

“Because…just because.” I can tell by her voice she’s too engrossed in the movie to give me a real answer.

“Ashley, I hate scary movies…you know that.” I poke my head over the pillow I’m holding, to take a look at the brunette across from me. She looks beautiful, and so interested in the movie…it’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.

“I do…but you weren’t even supposed to be here.” She rips her eyes off of the television screen to look at me. Both of our eyes meet, and I can’t help but smile at how frustrated I made her just by talking. I love it, so I keep it going.

    1. Uh oh first comment. Go me! But this chapter is really good. I really liked the flashback, I can kind of relate. Hopefully Spencer will get the nerve to talk to Ashley about everything going on in that head of hers. I’m sure this isn’t easy on Ashley either. Keep posting and I’ll keep reading.
