“Are you even going to talk to her about it? Or are you just pulling her along for the ride?” He has the audacity to ask me. If we weren’t at a public place, I might have just slapped him.

                    “How could you even ask me that?” I seethe.

                    “Because, I need to know.” He doesn’t back down like I expected him to. He really isn’t up for ending this conversation. He wants answers, and I’m not sure I can give them…not right now at least.

                    “Why?” I ask

                    “Because times running out on you two.” What? What is he trying to do to me? I’m already two seconds away from breaking into a full out sob fest, not giving a damn of who sees.

                    “What are you saying?” My voice cracks.

                    “I’m saying…” He shifts his position. “…stop dragging her along, when she could be happy…” He meets my eyes, with the saddest look possible. “…with someone other than you.”

                    “Where is all this coming from?” I ask defeated. This whole conversation is draining me, I just want to go home and sleep. Block out the world for a couple hours, and not worry about my problems.

                    “Maybe it’s time…you both move on.”
