    Bette and Tina talk

    Tina had known for several weeks that her voyage into heterosexuality was crumbling to dust but seeing Bette again had accelerated the realisation.

     

    Just looking at her former wife had brought a lot of the desires floating up that only that dark eyed woman could produce in her.

     

    Sex with Henry did not have the passion or quiet intensity that she had shared for so long with Bette. At first sex had been great – she had loved the feeling of a cock inside her again- loved how he felt and tasted but now — Now she longed for the soft skin of a woman, yearned for the variety and volume of her relationship with Bette.

    Henry was strictly conventional – no sex where Mickey might catch them and keep the sound to a minimum — at least her volume and not his.

    “Hey Tina ” Alice greeted her warmly.

    “Alice honey — how are you ? ” she embraced her – hugging her tight – hoping to comfort herself as well as Alice.

     

    “I am not too bad – thank you for coming here – Dana was very fond of you “

    Alice looked at Tina and wondered for the millionth time how Tina who had always been ” so gay ” could be so involved with Henry who Alice had very strong opinions on.

     

    Alice liked men – in fact Alice loved men — exciting men – men with passion and unconventional views. Henry was NOT one of these men.

    Henry was perfectly — Alice searched for the right word — Henry was perfectly NICE and there could be no bigger condemnation in her view. Bette was exciting and temperamental and full of love – not even his mother could say that about Henry.

     

    “How did you feel about seeing Bette again ? “

    Shocked — did you know ? “

    “Yes – I was only told last night – we were trying to find someone to give the eulogy. I had never thought of Bette “

    “Did you know she was pregnant – it might have been considerate to give me a warning “

    Alice frowned.

    “I had no idea that Bette was pregnant — even Kit didn’t know “

    20. I am with AmandaMG, Tina needs to lean in a gently kiss Bette. With that kiss becoming longer and deeper showing not only all around them that they are in love, but to let Henry know that it is over between him and Tina. No words need to be spoken just actions. Yippee, this is getting good.

    37. Ally, AGain thank you for reposting chapter 4. To have it and the following one was a joy to behold and indugle in. I love the gentleness of this story. The path back to where you belong is often fraught with danger and the inteferences of others even if they are often well-intentioned. It looks like Bette and Tina are ready to reaquaint themselves with each other but Henry may have a thing to say ans do about it but I know that Alice, Kit and Shane will be there to nourish and nuture the budding romance and reunion of two lost souls. Wonderful, wonderful writing. Thank you for all of your marvelous melodrama. Your Loyal Fan.

    39. EXCELLENT and so beautifully done. Now it is time for Alice and her compadraes to spring into action–Mission (and you WILL accept it) to get B&T together in a weeks time by having them spend the maxium amount of time together. I am soooo glad that they both risked it all and really opened up to each other. Alice talk to Tina was PRICELESS. Henry it is all over with the exception of doing the dirty dishes, have some pride about yourself and accept it. Look for someone else to be your “Baby’s mama” LOL.
