Bette is happy she is at the point of at least tasting that delicacy. Faye Buckley never found the truckload of courage and honesty. All she lived with was the recipe for disaster.
She pulled to a stop and the traffic light at the end of her street and looked up. “Please, no more drama, okay? Please?”
Her cell phone rang. It was Tina.
“Hey, T. I’m almost home. What’s up?”
“You may want to hold off coming home.”
“Why? What’s the matter?”
“I just looked outside and there are TV trucks and people with cameras sitting out there.”
As she got closer to the house, she saw the TV station vans and reporters.
She stopped the car and contemplated her next move.
“*****. I see them, T. All right, I’ll see you in a few.”
Well, they’re not going to go away. I may as well get this over with so they’ll get the ***** away from our home.
Bette pulled into their driveway. Like a swarm of bees after their queen, they were at her car door as she exited.
“Bette Porter, what do you think about Faye Buckley killing herself?“
“Ms. Porter, do you think she killed herself over you?”
“Why do you think she killed herself?”
“How did she kill herself?”
“Did you know she was a *****?”
Christ, Bette thought, it’s like one big run on sentence. If it bleeds, it leads. The media really does follow that code.
“Look, all I know is it’s very sad when anyone takes their life. It seemed from the testimony that Faye Buckley had been living in her own personal ***** for years. The case is over now. Please give me and my family some privacy.”
The reporters began shouting out some questions again, but Bette turned on her heels and headed inside.
One inside she put her back to the door. Tina quickly went to her and took her in her arms and hugged her.
“The ***** media are like sharks in a feeding frenzy”
“Hopefully, babe, by tomorrow morning this will be old news.”

To have or to have not a new big drama very soon, hmmm ? That is the question !
I think we can already expect the inevitable come back of the contemptuous Brit and the carpenter… Anyway, how could we deny that it’s also a pleasure to have a character to hate in a drama story ? And Helena, above all, is such a prime cut !
In waiting, this domestic moment of happiness was very sweet… It’s so good to enjoy a little break before the new drama wave !

Loves how Bette talks to the baby,then answers for her>Kelly is free,let her live a long happier lifenow. Betty and Tina still has rough road to travel. Helena and Candance will do more to them. thamks

RC…what an amazing post! Faye’s death set both Kelly & Bette free from her destructive path, but Bette & Tina still have a bump in their path – Helena. The drama’s far from over because the ‘eye’ of that drama hurricane is Helena. Until she stops, it will go on and on. Hopefully she’ll come to realise that BnT are like duct tape….the more you try to rip them apart, the stronger the bond they build.
