Bette didn’t know what to say. She was silent.
“Bette, are you okay?”
“Yes, just a little shocked.”
“Well, it’s over now for good. I’m sorry that I had to meet you and Tina under these circumstances, but I’m very glad to have met the both of you. I wish you and your family only the best. Please call me if you ever need anything.”
“Thank you,
Bette’s cell phone began to ring. She just looked at it, her mind still absorbing what
She picked up her cell and saw it was Tina.
“Hi, T.”
“Bette, did you hear? It was just on the news!”
“Yeah, babe.
“Not what any of us expected.”
Bette was quiet.
“Babe, are you okay?”
“Oh, I was just thinking about Kelly Barrett. As much as she’ll be able to put this behind her by having told her story, I think when she hears this she’s going to be upset.”
“I’m sure she will be, but I think it will also be closure for her, too. Bette, she said she has a partner of fifteen years and I have a feeling there will be two arms waiting to hold her and get her through this.”
“Yeah, she’s lucky – just like me, T.”
“These arms will always be here waiting to hold you, too, baby.”
“I love you, T. See you this evening.”
Bette hung up and stared for a few moments at the door to her office where she was attacked then went back to work.

Kelly Barrett was in her old bedroom – now the guest bedroom – packing getting ready to head ‘home’ to
Kelly smiled. Wait till she hears about Bette Porter. I doubt she’ll believe me. I’m still reeling from seeing my double.

To have or to have not a new big drama very soon, hmmm ? That is the question !
I think we can already expect the inevitable come back of the contemptuous Brit and the carpenter… Anyway, how could we deny that it’s also a pleasure to have a character to hate in a drama story ? And Helena, above all, is such a prime cut !
In waiting, this domestic moment of happiness was very sweet… It’s so good to enjoy a little break before the new drama wave !

Loves how Bette talks to the baby,then answers for her>Kelly is free,let her live a long happier lifenow. Betty and Tina still has rough road to travel. Helena and Candance will do more to them. thamks

RC…what an amazing post! Faye’s death set both Kelly & Bette free from her destructive path, but Bette & Tina still have a bump in their path – Helena. The drama’s far from over because the ‘eye’ of that drama hurricane is Helena. Until she stops, it will go on and on. Hopefully she’ll come to realise that BnT are like duct tape….the more you try to rip them apart, the stronger the bond they build.
