    Pizza and wine

     

    Alice jumps off the sofa and runs out of the house as fast as she can, which isn’t that quick considering. She reaches the edge of the pool and manages to stop herself just in time, but unfortunately Lucy doesn’t and she sends both of them tumbling into the water.

    They surface and start play fighting unaware that they now have an audience of Bette, Tina and Dana.

     

    Bette – looks like the party has already started

     

    Tina – hey guys

     

    Alice – Hi

     

    Lucy gets out of the pool then helps Alice out both of them stood there in their dripping wet clothes looking like a couple of naughty school children.

     

    Alice – make yourselves at home I’m just going to go and get changed

     

    Lucy – yeah me too

     

    Both women scuttle off through the kitchen and into their rooms giggling

     

    Dana – see I told, I’m not imagining it am I?

     

    Tina – Dana they were just messing around, just calm down and talk to Alice

     

    Dana – I don’t know if I can handle this

     

    Bette – well just try ok, I don’t know about you two but I’m looking forward to a night of grown up chat and a good old family night just like the old days.

     

    Tina – yeah me too

     

    Shane – and me

     

    Dana – hey I didn’t hear you creep in

     

    Shane – what can I say I’m light on my feet

     

    Bette – its down to all the sneaking out of bedrooms she’s done in her life, shane’s turned it into an art form

     

    Shane – ahh I never thought of that

     

    Tina – is Helena coming?

     

    Lucy has walked back into the kitchen, and joins the rest of the women

     

    Lucy – would that be Helena Peabody

     

    Bette – yes the one and only

     

    Lucy – well fuck me, I haven’t seen her since school

     

    Dana – you went to school with Helena?

     

    Lucy – for a couple of years, my parents thought a private education would curb my wild ways

     

    Dana – did It work?

    1. I really missed your story! I’m glad all the misunderstandings are dealt with. :D Dana really has do A LOT when it comes to Alice trusting her again. It will take a while…probably a very long while. But if Dana’s stick around and stays persistent, shlice’s heart again. (She already won Jake over. ;))

    7. I’m happy Dana finally told Alice how she was feeling. But I’m especially happy that Alice’s reaction was realistic. I’m glad she didn’t immediately fall into Dana’s arms again.

    8. Great post and it’s nice to see that you’re back! I love this story and I find it very realistic. I just hope that Danish get together sooner rather than later, but rebuilding that trust will prolly take a while. Anyways, I can’t wait to find out what happens next, so please post soon:)

    11. I read it and later I realize that I didn’t comment, how foolish of me. I think this was a great chapter Alice is right not to trust so soon that was an extreme break up for the poor girl and I can see where she’s coming from. I do want to see them together so I hope that’s in the cards. I also loved the donkey too. great job
