Tina gripped her girlfriend’s shaking hand under the table as Bette’s eyes narrowed into slits. “What the hell are you tr–" She started but got cut off as Max abruptly turned around and made a beeline for the door.

“We better leave for the theme park.” Max said over his shoulder, ignoring the searing looks being thrown his way by Bette. “C’mon you slowpokes.” He laughed as he made his way out.

“I’m really sorry..” Jenny apologized for Max’s behavior as she turned red in embarrassment. “Let’s go?” She laughed nervously as she angled towards the door to catch up with her own tactless girlfriend.

“Okay..” Tina nodded her head a little too enthusiastically as she stood up from her seat and tugged Bette’s hand. “Babe?” She anxiously called out as the brunette remained unmoving at her seat. She could see Bette silently counting to herself in an effort to control her anger. “Babe?” She tried again after a few seconds. Whew, Tina released the breath that she was holding when her girlfriend finally began showing signs of simmering down. A calmer Bette stood up from her seat and squeezed her hand.

“Theme park?” Bette looked at Tina quizzically, she wasn’t told anything about going to a theme park today. “Please, please don’t tell me we’re going to Disneyland..” She bemoaned as they began to walk, with her dragging her feet all the way to the exit.

“Don’t worry.” Tina smiled as they stepped out of the double doors and into the sidewalk. Jenny was waving at them as she stuck her head out of the driver’s window of her green Toyota hybrid. “We’re going to Sea World.” She beamed as Bette helped her inside the passenger seat of her new Jaguar.

“Sea.. World?” Bette froze on the sidewalk as she gaped at the smiling blonde before her.

“Yep.” Tina giggled at the shocked look on her girlfriend’s face. “Get in the car Porter,” She smirked as she reached out for the handle of her still ajar car door. “I can’t wait to see Shamu.” She winked as she pulled the door towards her and slammed it shut.

“Fuck.. me..” Bette mumbled to herself as she made her way around the car and sat down on the driver’s seat. What the heck did I get myself into? She groaned as she started the engine and pulled out of their parking space. Whales, sharks, seals, fishes, and other sea creatures. Not to mention hundreds of screaming kids and long lines. Oh God, Bette sighed. “You really have a LOT of making up to do..” She took Tina’s hand and placed a kiss on it as she tailed Jenny’s car up front.
