“I.. I think so..” Tina answered, she too was flabbergasted at the sight. Sure, Jenny was known to date weird and kinda wild girls, but this one takes the cake. Jenny wasn’t kidding when she told her on the phone that her new girlfriend was so unlike the ones she had before. Holy shit, she swallowed hard and forced a smile, Jenny’s girlfriend was a guy!

“Hey guys..” Jenny said a little breathlessly as she reached their table. “Sorry we’re late. Had to pick up this one from the skateboard park.” She smiled as she ruffled her girl/boyfriend’s oily looking mane. “Oh, Tina and Bette..” She smiled at the two stupefied girls sitting at the table. “Meet Max, my girlfriend.” She beamed as she held the boy’s hand and gave it a light squeeze.

“Hey..” Max gave a small wave and smiled lopsidedly at the two. He was used to such looks whenever he got introduced to other people. A lesbian-identified man was still a relatively new concept for some. [A/N: Yes, Max is a really a guy in this fic :P]

“Uhh.. umm..” Tina mumbled, losing the ability to formulate coherent words as she continued to stare at the guy. Her girlfriend, on the other hand, didn’t have the same problem.

“What the heck are you? One of those hermaphrodites?” Bette deadpanned in her usual cocky tone, politeness cast aside. Max flinched a little at Bette’s rudeness and bit back a sarcastic remark. “Ouch!” Bette grimaced as Tina stomped on her foot under the table.

“Please excuse Porter,” Tina shot her girlfriend a warning glare before turning her head to look back up at Jenny and Max. “She’s not usually this asinine.” She smiled tightly as Bette scoffed beside her. She stomped on her girlfriend’s foot once again – forcibly making the brunette behave. “She’s cranky because she just got a bikini wax.” She whispered conspiratorially to Jenny under her breath, the small girl nodded in understanding. Bette tried to protest but was shut up once more by a foot connecting to her shin.

“Porter?” Max cocked an eyebrow as he eyed the ill-mannered brunette. “Like the billionaire who owns all those banks and hotels?” He continued with a smirk. “Don’t tell me you’re one of those filthy rich heiresses with only hot air inside their thick heads.” He laughed at his own clever joke as Jenny and Tina’s mouths dropped in horror.
