“Fuck.” Bette cursed as she slumped down on her seat. “Fuck.” She rubbed her face with her hands. The truth in some of her father’s words hitting her hard. She couldn’t live without Tina.. she knew this to be true. But she didn’t know if she could live without her money too. “Well I would have to try.” She whispered to herself as she balled her hands into fists. She would pick Tina over her money. She would prove her dad wrong. I could bounce back from losing my wealth, she mused as she stood up and made her way outside the dining room. “But I could never pick myself up if lose Kennard.” She muttered under her breath.

Thursday. The Planet.

“What the fuck..” Bette huffed in annoyance as she looked down on her wristwatch for the twentieth time in the past 35 minutes. “They better have a good excuse for being late.” She warned as she looked at her fidgeting girlfriend beside her.

“I’m sure they’ll be here soon..” Tina answered a little unsure as she nervously watched the doors of the Planet. She could tell her girlfriend was losing her cool, Bette hated it when people made her wait. Tina was the only exception to this, well, mostly because Bette loved her so much to pardon her often tardiness.

“They better be!” Bette frowned as she crossed her arms on her chest indignantly. The nerve of Jenny and her girlfriend to make them wait. After all, they were the ones who invited them to go out on a stupid double date today.

“I’m sorry babe..” Tina apologized as she rubbed Bette’s back to calm her down. The brunette sighed as she leaned back against her touch. She would have a lot of making up to do after this date, she smiled at the fuming form of her girlfriend, just the fact that Bette didn’t storm out after fifteen minutes of waiting was enough to warrant that reward that she requested.

“Finally!” Bette exclaimed in irritation as a flustered looking Jenny entered the Planet with a scruffy looking person in her wake. “That’s her girl.. friend?” Bette raised an eyebrow as she eyed the person with Tina’s bestfriend. Fuck, Jenny sure has questionable tastes.. she grimaced as she studied the person’s ghetto wardrobe.
