“Porter! This is good!” And another spoon was delighted by Alice…
“Al, get the fuck out of here!” Bette demanded.
C´mon Porter! , begged Alice.
Tina and Kit, heard the complaining, and decided to see what was happening at the kitchen.
“What’s wrong, baby sis?” Kit wanted to know curiously.
“There’s nothing wrong, Kit…As you can see, everything is quite all right!” Alice said with a child look in her face, extending her eyes from Kit , fixing it from Tina to Bette.
Bette was complaining like a seven years old girl to her big sister “Kit, Alice is tasting the food, again!” She turned to look Alice in the eye “Al, I hate that!”
“Ok! Ok! “ was all Alice could manage to say. “What we are going to eat, anyway… I’m hungry and this is killing me!”
“Gnocchi, basil with chicken and some gorgonzola sauce and…uhhh… some gratin potatoes.”
“Wow! So who’s cooking tonight? Kit?” Tina surprised herself asking.
“No…”, Bette shyly answered.
“Then where did you order from? The smell is great!” Tina tried again.
“I didn’t order,“ Bette coyly remarked.
Tina opened the pan and breathed the sauce scent.
“God…This is good! So, tell me who’s the magician?” Another shot.
“I’m cooking tonight …” Bette said in a low sound.
Tina was amazed. She contained her big “What?” and turned it into a surprised “Oh…”
“No, Tina! No ohhh!” Alice mocked of her friend reaction. “It’s hmmmmmm or at least an Ahhhhhh”, she completed.
“ Yes, Tina! My baby sis is in the kitchen and she is enjoying it!” Laughed Kit.
Suddenly Tina felt ashamed…She didn’t want to sound assumptive “Oh, Bette! Sorry…. Sorry… I didn’t mean to be presumptuous”
“No problem Tina…Well, I have all those experiences that made me a convicted woman” Bette smiled, smirking.
“Now let me explain something here Tina…” Alice interrupted. “With Bette, you can no longer be presumptuous, honey”
“C´mon, Alice…Don’t go there. “ Bette warned. “I just took classes for a week!” She interjected.
Tina didn’t understand the entire situation. She didn’t know what they were talking about. She wasn’t aware of the meaning behind the words and that brought her a deep sense of missing. Never, in her lifetime with Bette, was she not aware of something Bette was doing or thinking, trying, wishing … or wasn’t she?

UGH WOMEN…WHY????lol couldnt jodie gotten lost for this one that was soo wrong women.*wink*okay im ready for the cat fight now.wow bette can cook now and many other things very good and she impressed tina even better.we all knew bette was all aplha women it was in her soul hidding wanting to come out.please post soon. Bummer, what a way to suck out all the fun. Ok, at least Tina can see what she’s up against. A Jodi can see she doesn’t belong.
I really enjoyed this post. The flow of the story was excellent, beginning with the definitions which set the stage and family night…wow. I felt like I was there. Love the way the gang responded to seeing B&T together. Love the interaction between the two of them. I also love the way Bette has grown. Excellent job. PPS.
That was just mean to have Jodi show up the first time Tina comes for family night. She just needs to go bye bye.

OooOOO well Tina, I don’t know quite what to say except you didn’t fight to get your woman back before, you got all pissy and chose not to try to regain a trust over the affair, and now that Bette has moved on, wellllll….guess you just have to accept it OR…plant those heels in the ground and begin to win that woman back. You let her walk before, don’t stand by and let her continue down a road you think won’t complete her. OMG…now I am talking to the characters like my friend Tylo. Honey…BRING ON THE DRAMA!!!!!!! I knew that it was Jodi. I am hoping that she feels left out and decides that she needs to leave before Tina walks out with Boo. Once she sees Tina she will not leave because I am sure that she can feel that she does not have all of Bette. She has to know that Tina is still imbedded in Bette’s heart and that any type of shove will send Bette running back into Tina’s arms or vise versa.
