    “You don’t need to be afraid, Tina. It’s family…” Bette said softly and pulled her inside. The warmth in her loving voice wrapped Tina dearly. Bette was a step ahead of her. In one arm, she carried Angie. The other hand, fingers entwined with Tina. Tina was overwhelmed by Bette’s touch and with the house atmosphere.”

     But, she didn’t want Tina to see her surprised, so she spilled the answer, “Sure, Al, sure! Would you like to join us, T… ina? Bette almost lost herself. “It’s a dinner. We cook, drink some wine and catch up a lot. Sometimes it’s just me, Shane. But Kit and Angus show up once in a while. Sometimes James also appears and…” Bette was afraid to say, but it was the truth, “..and sometimes Jodi also joins the group.”

     

     

    Jodi… That name had hit Tina… A family night and Jodi.  But, she  avoided these thoughts and decided to take the risk.  “Can I take Angie?”

     

    Bette’s face opening in a bright and warm smile, full of joy, “That would be just perfect!”

    Slowly. Slowly means the night before the Christmas Eve. It means when you’re traveling for seven hours and there’s four more to come. Means the day before a wished holiday. Slowly is when you can’t take it anymore. When there´s nothing else to beg. When you just need desperate the release…but your lover doesn’t  want to give it to you and slowly keeps the torture…In Portuguese you write lentamente…Len-ta-men-te. Slowly is slower when its written in Portuguese. It took its time…

    Serenity is an antonymous to anxiety. In French: anxiété. In Italian: ansietà and it means an anticipation of adversity or misfortune; suspicion or fear of future. Inside anxiety there’s no serenity, only a sense of apprehension, that is a painful expectation.

    Miss is an interesting word. It could represent someone, like in Miss Potter.  It also could mean when you miss the chance with that beautiful women. When your partner misses the target, you miss your orgasm. It’s also the regret, the absence or loss of something and it’s surrounded by the word failure.  In a poetical view, miss is emptiness: I miss her dreadfully.

    4. I really enjoyed this post. The flow of the story was excellent, beginning with the definitions which set the stage and family night…wow. I felt like I was there. Love the way the gang responded to seeing B&T together. Love the interaction between the two of them. I also love the way Bette has grown. Excellent job. PPS.

OooOOO well Tina, I don’t know quite what to say except you didn’t fight to get your woman back before, you got all pissy and chose not to try to regain a trust over the affair, and now that Bette has moved on, wellllll….guess you just have to accept it OR…plant those heels in the ground and begin to win that woman back. You let her walk before, don’t stand by and let her continue down a road you think won’t complete her. OMG…now I am talking to the characters like my friend Tylo. Honey…BRING ON THE DRAMA!!!!!!!     11. I knew that it was Jodi. I am hoping that she feels left out and decides that she needs to leave before Tina walks out with Boo. Once she sees Tina she will not leave because I am sure that she can feel that she does not have all of Bette. She has to know that Tina is still imbedded in Bette’s heart and that any type of shove will send Bette running back into Tina’s arms or vise versa.
