Kit was the first to break the silence. “How are you, girl? Come here and give me a hug.”
Before Tina felt Kit’s hug, she felt the loose of Bette’s hand. Bette released Tina’s hand and gave her space to embrace Kit. She stopped by her side and let her hand rest in the back of Tina’s back, pulling her gently to Kit. Tina was overwhelmed by the feelings of belonging…
“Hi, Kit! It’s good to see you!”
“Its good to see you too, dear … You look just …” Kit stepped back to have a full view of Tina, “… great girl!”
“She is, isn’t she!”, came from a shinning Bette. She couldn’t control her mouth.
James and Angus were next. They hugged and kissed Tina. Alice was holding her emotions. This vision brought so many good memories. Memories of love, friendship. Memories of Dana who she missed daily. With tearing eyes, Alice hugged Tina close.
“Its so good to see you here, Tina. We all missed you…”
Tina was rendered powerless. She turned to Bette and was received by the most sweetest and kindest smile.
The door bell interrupted the moment.
“I’ll get it…I’ll get it…”. Bette said. She was lost in Tina and she needed to take control over her reactions again. She moved to the door, but before she got there, the door opened a little and Shane leaned her head inside. “Can I come in?”
“Hello, Shane…Sure…sure…” Bette reassured her friend while playing with Angie.
“Look who’s here…Hey Boo! Good to see you, sweetie…But…” Shane laid her interrogating eyes on Bette, “What are you doing here tonight, honey…”
Then she heard Tina’s laugh … “What’s…”. before Shane could complete her sentence, Bette began, “Alice invited Tina to dinner… Alice and…I”, she quietly said.
A big smile crossed Shane’s face. “Good, man! Good! Really cool!”
Bette heard some sounds coming from the kitchen frowning her face. “Oh, no!” she exclaimed.
“Hmmm… This taste good!” , came from Alice
“Shane , hold her for a second.” Bette extended Boo to Shane who received the nephew with a sweet smile.
“Alice, what are you doing? Bette interrogated.

UGH WOMEN…WHY????lol couldnt jodie gotten lost for this one that was soo wrong women.*wink*okay im ready for the cat fight now.wow bette can cook now and many other things very good and she impressed tina even better.we all knew bette was all aplha women it was in her soul hidding wanting to come out.please post soon. Bummer, what a way to suck out all the fun. Ok, at least Tina can see what she’s up against. A Jodi can see she doesn’t belong.
I really enjoyed this post. The flow of the story was excellent, beginning with the definitions which set the stage and family night…wow. I felt like I was there. Love the way the gang responded to seeing B&T together. Love the interaction between the two of them. I also love the way Bette has grown. Excellent job. PPS.
That was just mean to have Jodi show up the first time Tina comes for family night. She just needs to go bye bye.

OooOOO well Tina, I don’t know quite what to say except you didn’t fight to get your woman back before, you got all pissy and chose not to try to regain a trust over the affair, and now that Bette has moved on, wellllll….guess you just have to accept it OR…plant those heels in the ground and begin to win that woman back. You let her walk before, don’t stand by and let her continue down a road you think won’t complete her. OMG…now I am talking to the characters like my friend Tylo. Honey…BRING ON THE DRAMA!!!!!!! I knew that it was Jodi. I am hoping that she feels left out and decides that she needs to leave before Tina walks out with Boo. Once she sees Tina she will not leave because I am sure that she can feel that she does not have all of Bette. She has to know that Tina is still imbedded in Bette’s heart and that any type of shove will send Bette running back into Tina’s arms or vise versa.
