    B&T reconnect 9 years after season 1: Bette spends more time with Tina and Eli

     

    Bette walked over towards Kit to order her usual. Kit looked up and saw her sister sporting a smile that seemed to reach her eyes.

     

    "Hey baby girl, you look like you’re having a very good morning."

     

    Bette hugged Kit. "I’m happy."

     

    Bette’s smile seemed to be infectious because now Kit was smiling. "I can tell. I liked the effect those two beautiful blondes are having on you."

     

    "I spent all day Saturday with them, and it felt so great…" Bette shyly looked down then back up at Kit. "I’m taking Tina on a date this Tuesday."

     

    "That’s great. You two deserve some time alone."

     

    "Yeah. I hate that I have go to work. I spent most of yesterday thinking about Tina and Eli but instead of being there with them I was stuck in my office doing paper work."

     

    "I thought you were going to leave all that work for your minions."

     

    "They did a lot of the work while I was gone but with the opening getting closer. I just want everything to be done a week ahead of the opening."

     

    "I hope you’re going to lighten up your workload now that Tina and Eli are here."

     

    "Absolutely. I love that everything’s coming together at the gallery but I would really much rather be with…"

     

    Kit cut Bette off before she could finish her sentence. "Your family….What don’t give me that look you know as well as I do that you want them to be your family."

     

    "I do but we still have a lot of talking before I can say that out loud."

     

    "Well hurry it up you two belong with each other. Even that sweet little boy can see that. Now go and eat your breakfast."

     

    "Thanks Kit…Oh and we’re going to meet here for lunch."

     

    "Good it’s about time Tina came back to the Planet."

     

    Bette walked over to Shane with her breakfast.

     

    "Hey Shane. Where’s Carmen and Anna?"

     

    "Hey Bette. There at Carmen’s mom’s house. They’re going to come later."

     

    "Do you have to work today?"

     

    "I’m going to go in for awhile then probably come back here."

    5. Great chapter, Tori. Do so love this story. So happy that you show the love between them and with Eli as well. They are taking things slowly soas to cement their relationship for the future with no problems. I want Bette to ask Tina about Eli’s name and surely she did that on purpose, at least I hope. Bette showing her jealousy is kinda sweet and endearing. No one had better mess with her Tina. Great.

    10. This is a delightful story. I love it b/c it shows the possibilities if two people in love are willing to bridge the hurt and forgive the unforgivable then they can prevail. It also shows how energy and life consuming hatred can be. Carpe diem!

    14. I am so addicted to your story, I pulled it up this morning b4 work and now I’m playing hookey just so I could read it; good thing work is only 5 minutes away! I live on campus..hanging out for the date and if B’s gonna have more galleries then she can just have one in NY to give her reason to be with Tina and Eli…and James can run the LA one…or Tina can relocate her job somehow to LA…everythings fixable, when you’re that much in love. Thanks for the extra long post. I will hang at out for the next one.
