    Saturday Evening

     

     


    Bette and Eli were waiting in the livingroom with Nero as Tina went to change into something more comfortable for their walk on the beach. The sun was still out but there was only a light breeze so Tina decided to wear her white sun dress. She was walking back when she heard Eli laughing at Bette, who was trying to put a leash on a reluctant Nero.Tina was standing off to the side watching Bette and Eli bond. She just had a great lunch with Bette and Eli.

     

    ‘It wasn’t anything special but in a way it was. We were sitting together talking and joking, but it was just how I imagined it would be. It felt like we were a family, we were all so comfortable with each other. It surprised me to see how at ease Bette and Eli are with each other. I’m happy that they spent the week with each other they just seem so open with each other.’

     

    Bette had finally managed to get the leash on after using a considerable amount of energy, so she just sank back into the couch. She had the leash in one hand and her other arm over Eli’s shoulder.

     

    Bette turned her head towards Eli. "Does Nero usually put up that much of a fight to get his leash on?"

     

    Eli smiled back at Bette. "He listens to me and mom because we went to obedience school with him."

     

    "So there’s no hope that he’ll listen to me?"

     

    "If mom tells him to behave, he’ll listen."

     

    "Smart dog."

     

    Tina walked into the room. "Sorry to keep you two waiting."

     

    Bette and Eli turned to Tina. Eli jumped up and took hold of Nero’s leash, and Bette remained seated. Bette couldn’t get over how beautiful Tina looked, the dress went a little past Tina’s knees but it still showed off enough of Tina’s great legs. She had pulled her hair up and the thin straps gave a great view of Tina’s shoulders.

     

    Tina smirked at Bette’s lack of a response. "Bette?"

     

    Bette looked back up at Tina’s eyes. "You were worth the wait…" Tina smiled even wider. "…T you look great in that dress."

    5. Great chapter, Tori. Do so love this story. So happy that you show the love between them and with Eli as well. They are taking things slowly soas to cement their relationship for the future with no problems. I want Bette to ask Tina about Eli’s name and surely she did that on purpose, at least I hope. Bette showing her jealousy is kinda sweet and endearing. No one had better mess with her Tina. Great.

    10. This is a delightful story. I love it b/c it shows the possibilities if two people in love are willing to bridge the hurt and forgive the unforgivable then they can prevail. It also shows how energy and life consuming hatred can be. Carpe diem!

    14. I am so addicted to your story, I pulled it up this morning b4 work and now I’m playing hookey just so I could read it; good thing work is only 5 minutes away! I live on campus..hanging out for the date and if B’s gonna have more galleries then she can just have one in NY to give her reason to be with Tina and Eli…and James can run the LA one…or Tina can relocate her job somehow to LA…everythings fixable, when you’re that much in love. Thanks for the extra long post. I will hang at out for the next one.
