    B&T reconnect 9 years after season 1: Bette spends more time with Tina and Eli

     

    "Sounds good that’s what I’m going to do…" Bette seemed to be excited. "Tina’s going to meet me her for lunch."

     

    "That’s great Bette."

     

    "Yeah. I hate to cut breakfast short but I need to go to work."

     

    "Don’t apologize, you want to make sure you get here in time for your lunch with Tina. Go on."

     

    As Bette was gathering her things Shane noticed how Bette couldn’t seem to stop smiling. "Bette I think it’s about time that you’re really happy, it’s about time that you two found each other again."

     

    "I have Eli to thank for that, but I’m not going to lose her this time."

     

    "Make sure you don’t. Now go on the sooner you go the sooner you get out."

     

    "Bye Shane." "Bye Kit."

     

     

    Bette hurried to work feeling good that she’d be seeing Tina soon. Lucky for her this day went more smoothly then the previous. Her meeting with her lawyer went well all the contracts were finished and all the art was secured. Porter Gallery was nearly complete. She had thought of changing the name but Eli had convinced her that she needed to stay with the established name, if she was going to open other gallery’s he felt that they needed some common notoriety. Bette agreed to keep the name as is, besides she needed to get the Gallery’s name engraved out front. Everything was coming together in Bette’s life.

     

    Tina was feeling a similar sense of calm. She had spent the day with Eli. She was able to catch up with Alice and Dana. Alice had mentioned that she was offered a promotion, but that it would mean more work and longer hours. She hadn’t told Dana about it yet, but she was actually thinking of turning it down maybe she’d write a book. Tina listened and was the friend Alice had missed all those years ago. Tina refused to talk about her plans with Bette, not to be mean but because first of all she wasn’t too clear on what they were going to do but also because she had this problem with Bette in the past. Bette wouldn’t be the last to know, Tina too had learned her lesson. She did however tell Alice about her day with Bette and Eli. They all had fun until Tina had to start to get ready to meet Bette for lunch. It didn’t take very long for Eli to get ready, although the cast did slow him down, on the bright side it didn’t hurt him very much anymore.

    1. The whole stories is beautiful. Eli is so sweet,and Bette and Tina are so in love and just needsome time and Bette will make sure that they have that. I just wonder when Bette will ask about Eli’s name. I believe that Bette loves Eli as much as Tina does. thanks so much for posting thanks

    5. Great chapter, Tori. Do so love this story. So happy that you show the love between them and with Eli as well. They are taking things slowly soas to cement their relationship for the future with no problems. I want Bette to ask Tina about Eli’s name and surely she did that on purpose, at least I hope. Bette showing her jealousy is kinda sweet and endearing. No one had better mess with her Tina. Great.

    10. This is a delightful story. I love it b/c it shows the possibilities if two people in love are willing to bridge the hurt and forgive the unforgivable then they can prevail. It also shows how energy and life consuming hatred can be. Carpe diem!

    14. I am so addicted to your story, I pulled it up this morning b4 work and now I’m playing hookey just so I could read it; good thing work is only 5 minutes away! I live on campus..hanging out for the date and if B’s gonna have more galleries then she can just have one in NY to give her reason to be with Tina and Eli…and James can run the LA one…or Tina can relocate her job somehow to LA…everythings fixable, when you’re that much in love. Thanks for the extra long post. I will hang at out for the next one.
