TMP Syndrome – (Chapter: Welcome to the party!)

‘What the hell is she doing with me?…’

As soon as Spencer entered the kitchen she found Ashley straight away even though it was huge. One to be noticed, she was screaming at the top of her lungs.

“What up Rog?!” She exchanged a gangster handshake with Roger. A bit too gangster for Spencer’s liking. How had she never seen this side of Ash before? Probably because she had only seen her alone or with Aiden, never with her ‘old friends’ as Aiden called them.

Another monster scream from Ashley shook Spencer from her thoughts.

“KAAAAATTTEEEE!!!!!” Ashley ran across the kitchen, hurdling over the cases of beer, straight into the arms of a blonde. A very pretty blonde, Spencer noted. Ashley continued in her excitement.

“Oh my God! What are you doing here?! I can’t even believe it!” Her hands ran up and down Kate’s arms finally resting on her shoulders. “I missed you!” She pulled her in for a hug.

After dumping a large box of alcohol he had been struggling with, Aiden walked over to Spencer and draped his arm around her shoulders. “Aaaahhhh, Kate’s here, I thought it was a bit early for a cat fight.” The thought of Aiden coming to Ashley’s rescue when she had gotten into fights in the past entered Spencer’s mind, but left as quickly as it came.

Spencer crossed her arms, “Who is she?”

“Another of Ashley’s ‘old friends’. Actually I think they dated for a while, not sure. Hard to keep tabs on Ash, haha!” Spencer’s un-amused face silenced Aiden.

He cleared his throat, “Anyway, she left about a year ago to go travelling, and now….I guess she’s back.”

They both stood and watched the two girls practically grope each other and exchange comments like ‘I can’t believe how tanned you are’ etc. Spencer decided to interrupt when Kate curled her fingers around Ashley’s hair just the way she does, apparently ‘amazed’ at the colour of it.

The blonde sneaked up behind Ashley and snaked her arms around her waist from behind. Ashley smiled at covered Spencer’s hands with her own.

    “This is my girlfriend Spencer.”

Spencer was more interested in kissing Ashley’s neck than making small talk with Kate. Ashley pulled her neck away and twisted her body so she was standing next to Spencer, holding her hand.

    1. Hehe…ah this will definately be an entertaining story. Great details, as well as development of the characters…i guess that’s what i’m trying to say. I really love the interaction between everyone and can’t wait to read more. So…you must post more soon….please?!?!

    2. To all of you who commented, thank you so much. I’m sorry to say there will be no further installments of TMP Syndrome. This is the best I can do and it only got four stars. I don’t know about you but I mostly only read 5 star stories so I feel that this story is worthless. I guess I could say the way some people rated this story has crushed my confidence. It’s not their fault, I just have very little confidence to begin with! I think I know why it got 4 stars; because most authors/readers are adults and if you write a story based on the characters ACTUAL age group (i.e. teenagers having fun, not so serious stuff) people don’t want to hear about it. I just cannot, myself, write 16/17 year olds swearing their undying love for one another, it just doesnt happen! I could be wrong but thats what I put the rating down to. Thanks again to all of you who commented.
