TMP Syndrome – (Chapter: Welcome to the party!)

Ashley and Spencer walked hand in hand out of King High. It was Friday, exactly one week since they started going out and the weekend held little possibilities…..until Ashley’s cell started ringing.

    “Yeah….hey you!….oh I’m totally there…..awesome….mind if my girlfriend tags?…..cool, what time?….yeah I’ve still got the key…..will do….later.”

As they got into the Porsche, Ashley had this smug look on her face and Spencer was dying to know what the phone call was about.

“So….” Spencer swatted the brunette’s arm.

“Oh! Right, um, there’s the annual house rave at Aaron’s tonight. He does it every year when his parents go to Hawaii. Filthy rich, massive house, free drink, no parents…you HAVE to come with me, it’s gonna be awesome!”

Spencer pretended to think about it then answered, “No.”

    “No?”

“Not if I’m just a ‘tag along’” A smile followed, telling Ashley she wasn’t really pissed.

Ashley rolled her eyes, “Come on Spence you know what I meant. I really want you to be there!”

    Spencer continued to think. “Hmmmmm.”

“Your Moms out of town on a nursing course, your Dad’ll be cool with it, I’ll pick you up at 8.”

Ashley turned the key in the ignition and was about to pull away.

“Wait!” Spencer exclaimed, “What do you still have the key to?”

“My Mom’s liquor cabinet.” With that Ashley winked at the shocked blonde and the car sped from the parking lot.

Ashley stood in front of her mirror with an ‘I’m-so-hot-and-I-know-it’ look on her face. With reason as well. She. Was. Smokin’! She was wearing that tight and extremely short little black dress from episode 5 (when she pulled that girl who ripped her off). Needless to say it left very little to the imagination. But that was what she was hoping for.

As she was about to use the key she got copied in about the 8th grade, Ashley starting thinking about Spencer. And not in the good way either.

‘What if she freaks if she sees me drinking? What will she think of my friends? I SO want her to like them! Will she think I’m a slut dressed like this? She’s never really seen my wild side before…Well whatever, I’m not changing, this is who I am. It’s a party, and there’s impressions to be made. Ashley Davies is NOT pussy whipped, I don’t care what they say, I’ll prove them all wrong. Having a girlfriend won’t make me change ANY of my ways…’

    1. Hehe…ah this will definately be an entertaining story. Great details, as well as development of the characters…i guess that’s what i’m trying to say. I really love the interaction between everyone and can’t wait to read more. So…you must post more soon….please?!?!

    2. To all of you who commented, thank you so much. I’m sorry to say there will be no further installments of TMP Syndrome. This is the best I can do and it only got four stars. I don’t know about you but I mostly only read 5 star stories so I feel that this story is worthless. I guess I could say the way some people rated this story has crushed my confidence. It’s not their fault, I just have very little confidence to begin with! I think I know why it got 4 stars; because most authors/readers are adults and if you write a story based on the characters ACTUAL age group (i.e. teenagers having fun, not so serious stuff) people don’t want to hear about it. I just cannot, myself, write 16/17 year olds swearing their undying love for one another, it just doesnt happen! I could be wrong but thats what I put the rating down to. Thanks again to all of you who commented.
