    Does Ashley get what she wants?

    “That’s not true, I never threatened Martha with that.  You’re lying, she’s lying Spencer.”  Spencer hugged me tighter while Aiden and I continued our conversation.

    “Am I, than Martha must have heard you wrong.  I read her thoughts and that’s exactly what you said to her.”

    “You lying bitch, you’ll say anything to keep Spencer on your side.  What about my great great grandfather did you know him?”  Aiden asked his fists now clenched.

    “Yes, we were old adversaries back in the day.  He almost killed me way back when.  I wasn’t aware that he was still alive until I read your thoughts.”

    “So you killed him too?”

    “Yes, he knew how to destroy my kind and you were going to him to ask him how to do it.  See you were indirectly the cause of his death too.  My, my Aiden, it seems that everyone you involve in this situation end up… dead,” I said quirking an eyebrow.

    “What are you talking about Ashley, I didn’t kill my great great grandfather, you did.”

    “Yes only because you were going to go to him to find out how to get rid of us,” I hissed, my fangs now exposed.

    “What the fuck!”  Glen said surprised by my fangs and my confession. He pulled out his off duty revolver.  “Spencer did you hear what she said,” Glen asked, watching his sister nuzzle her face into my neck, placing kisses up and down it.

    “Yes I heard every word.  She was protecting herself and her love for me.  I love her Glen, I belong to Ashley now.”

    “Spencer come over here.” 

    My beloved did not budge from my side.  Good girl.

    “Spencer… I said come… over… here!” Glen demanded.  “Spencer please it’s me your brother, come here.”

    “Mmhmm, I know it’s you Glen, I can smell you all the way over here and you smell delicious,” she said eyeing both her brother and Aiden.  Spencer left my embrace and walked over to Aiden, pulling him to her and away from Glen.  Her eyes had changed to a glowing midnight blue.   Aiden was in a trance as he stared into Spencer’s eyes.

    “Aiden I want you,” she said seductively pulling him closer to her.

    “Uh… Spencer,” he stammered swallowing hard.  Glen watched his sister and Aiden, his gun still drawn on me shaking.

    1. awesome ending! aiden got what was coming to him. I’m glad kyla and glen sort of have each other to be with and of course everything worked out for spence and ash in the end. excellent story, I’ve enjoyed each chapter and can’t wait for you to get back at it!
