The Dark Side – (Chapter: Life, Death and a New Beginning)
The thunder’s continuous rumbling was relentless along with the flashes of lightning that made the bedroom look like a disco nightclub. The blowing rain flowing into Spencer’s bedroom through the open balcony door had now made a large puddle on her expensive rug. I would have enjoyed being out in the ravaging storm with Spencer by my side but there was no time for that. Aiden now along with Glen had to be dealt with today.
I kept my eye on Glen but I also kept my eye on Spencer to make sure Aiden didn’t harm her. Grabbing him securely, she turned his head to the side exposing his neck and viciously bit down hard.
I heard him scream out in agonizing pain and then he screamed her name, “Aww! SPENCER… NO!”
The bastard deserved worse than what he was getting. I would have loved to have taken him myself but I gave my word to his great great grandfather that I would not harm him. Everything has worked out for the best though. It was better for Spencer to take him, she needed to feed and what better person to feed on then the man who had been controlling her life for the last eight years.
I watched Spencer suck all the blood out of Aiden, his body jerked, spasmed and twitched for a good five minutes then suddenly stop. She hissed as she took her fangs from his neck, blood draining from her mouth down her chin.
“Aiden, Spencer, oh my God no,” Glen cried out. “You… you bitch,” he screamed at me.
Then he stupidly lunged for me. Big mistake, I had thought about sparing his life since he was Spencer’s brother but lunging toward me the way he did sealed his fate. He came at me fast and furious. I swung my hands out throwing him several feet in the air. His body smashed through the full-length mirror in Spencer’s bedroom, cracking his skull while several pieces of broken glass embedded itself into his back piercing his heart. He was dead before he hit the floor.
“Spencer go feed while his blood is still pumping.” She hesitated but the smell of his blood was stronger than knowing that it was her brother she was about to feed on. She ran to him like he was a piece of candy.
