    Does Ashley get what she wants?

    “Spencer what are you doing?” Glen cried.

    “Nothing big brother, I just realized I want Aiden to be with me.  He smells so good.”

    I stood back watching the events unfold.  Spencer opened her arms and embraced Aiden pushing his head into ample bosom holding him tightly.  Then she roughly grabbed a handful of his hair yanking his head back to expose his throat to her.  She pulled her lips back exposing her newly acquired sharp white fangs and directed them at Aiden’s neck.

    As I watched Spencer hold Aiden in a trance, I remembered my confrontation with Gunther Dennison.  I gave my word to him that I would not harm Aiden.  But I did not promise to keep someone else from harming him.  So, I have not broken my promise to him.  I will not be the one to harm his great great grandson.

    “Aiden watch out, she’s going to bite you,” Glen yelled.

    I hissed at Glen, his voice interrupted Spencer’s concentration allowing Aiden to come out of the trance Spencer had him in which enabled him to push Spencer away. 

    She also hissed her disappointment. 

    “Spencer,” I called.

    Glen turned, his focus was back on me now.  His hand was visibly shaking with the gun still pointed at me. “You bitch, you’re killing my family and the people I love.  I won’t let you get away with it.”  He fired the full clip.

    “Ashley!”  I heard Spencer scream. 

    Stupid man, did he think his gun could stop me.  I shook my head, “stupid boys playing with stupid toys,” I told him.  And to prove my point, I opened my hand letting all the bullets that he fired from his gun fall to the floor.

    Glen’s mouth gaped, “you’re… you’re not human,” he said throwing his revolver at me.  I caught it in midair and crushed it with my hand.

    “Spencer, come to me,” I commanded her.

    “No! You can’t have her,” Aiden yelled, struggling to his feet, rushing towards Spencer to grab her away from me.  I swung my arm out to protect Spencer and myself from his attack and threw him across the room, his body hit the wall hard. 

    “Go and feed your hunger Spencer while Aiden is still dazed.  Do just like I showed you.”  She nodded and quickly ran over to Aiden.  He did not see her coming for him as he continued to sit on the floor on the other side of the room trying to clear his head.

    1. awesome ending! aiden got what was coming to him. I’m glad kyla and glen sort of have each other to be with and of course everything worked out for spence and ash in the end. excellent story, I’ve enjoyed each chapter and can’t wait for you to get back at it!
