Tina presses her lips together.
Tina – I’m not sure I can go either, Kit.
Kit – Just sleep on it! Considering last night … you look like you need a break!
The blonde sighs and places a hand on her temple.
Tina – Oww…
Kit points to the chair.
Kit – You sit right here! I have a great tea for hangover!
Tina chuckles.
Kit – I’ll be right back!
She walks inside. The blonde gazes at the card again.

Ranch house porch, morning: Kit and Tina are drinking tea and chatting.
Kit – Feel better now?
The blonde nods.
Tina – Much better!
At that moment, Jim parks the blue Jeep in front of the house and places four long boxes in a dolly. He comes up the steps of the porch.
Jim – Excuse me, Kit. I’m going to put these paintings in the library for now. I need to make crates for them. Bette asked me to ship them today.
Kit – Of course, Jim! Are these going to the new exhibit?
Jim – She asked me to ship them to the gallery.
The ranch owner opens the front door for him to enter. He places them in the library and leaves. Kit turns to the producer with a mischievous smile.
Kit – Well, Tina … let’s check them!
The blonde laughs and shakes her head.
Kit – C’mon! We got the invitations!
She stands up and follows Kit to the library.

Ranch house library, morning: Tina and Kit are in the library looking at Bette’s paintings. Kit first opens the box with the painting of Charlie and Minnie and places it on the fireplace mantle.
Kit – Ohh … it is so beautiful!
Tina – Yes!
Kit – But I don’t think it’s in the exhibit, right?
Tina – Yeah … it is not likely.
Kit – I’m gonna get myself this painting! It’s coming back here!
The blonde smiles.
Tina – You should!
Next, the ranch owner opens the second box, which contains the painting of the woman having an orgasm.
Kit – Well, we’ve seen this one! It looks like she finished it.
Tina – Uh-huh!
Kit – And I’m sure it’s going to be in the exhibit titled “Women”, don’t you think?

So, Bette kissed Tina and then sleeped with Joanna? If not, how Joanna was in her cabin? Did Bette give all her fucking buddies keys from her cabin? So i think she’s sleeping with her. And in that case maybe for Tina better stay away from her – this Bette just a player

I think Joanna went to Bette’s cabin univited hoping to reconnect with her, but it didn’t happen. Apparently she also gave up, recognising that Bette has found love and kissed her goodbye. That’s how I see it, at least 😅
I thought about it, but how Joanna gets the key?
We’ll see, maybe later author gives up clearing about this
I thought about the key too, but hadn’t Tina found the cabin open too and decided to just wait on the porch, the day she “lost” Minnie? Maybe Bette never locks up the cabin’s door ????

This is why I said that it is fun to find out what the readers think. Zhenya, the first thing that Bette asks Joanna when she wakes up is: “What are you doing here?” And Joanna replies: “I miss you. We haven’t been together in a while.” This is a rustic cabin in Bette’s property. I don’t think she worries about keys. As Atritonia pointed out, even Tina got in uninvited at some point.

I love the parallelism between Minnie & Charlie and Tina & Bette and how you write as for a screenplay.
Can’t wait to read what will happen at the opening!

But i understood that Joanna wanted a Bette for breakfast, i would love that too ????

I haven’t commented on a story in awhile as I’ve been hiding as a silent reader, but I just had to hop on here and tell you how much I absolutely love this story! So much that I kept checking back frequently hoping for a new post and you never disappoint!
Can’t wait to see how it all progresses and I also like that it hasn’t felt rushed at all.

It seems Charlie has Bette withdraws also.. just as Tina is having in her dreams. The painting of her I think will make her forget all about miss trouble making Joanna and follow her heart.
We all know she will indeed make it to the opening and be drop dead gorgeous and I think Bette is not quiet ready for the fireworks because I’m not convinced that Bette left her an invitation.
I know if Joanna can see a difference in Bette than Kit sure has and knows who has make that difference. And seeing the painting backed her theory up. Mmm… thank you loved it and can’t wait to see whats up next.
