Tina – Maybe she didn’t have a model that day.
Kit – Girl, I told you: she doesn’t use models. She paints her experiences. And to my knowledge, this is as close as she ever came to identifying a woman.
Tina presses her lips together. Kit smirks.
Kit – Her paintings have always been a window to her thoughts and feelings.
The blonde looks pensive.
Kit – I didn’t know you had been to her cabin.
Tina – Uhh … I was taking pictures in the valley …
The ranch owner smirks.
Kit – And slept in her bed …?
Tina – That was later …
Kit – More than once?! I guess the two of you are very private!
Tina – Uhh …
Kit laughs and touches the blonde’s arm.
Kit – I’m just kidding … I don’t want to know the entanglements of my baby sis. It’s between the two of you. But … between the two of us: I love it!
She smiles and leaves the library.
Tina continues to gaze at the painting. She seems lost in thought. Her arms close in a hug around her belly. That flutter that keeps coming back.

A day later

Production Cabin, morning: Tina is in her office having a meeting with her staff when she hears Charlie neighing incessantly. She frowns and looks out the window.

Western Skies Stable, morning: Tina enters the stable and makes her way to Minnie’s stall with a couple of carrots. She notices that Charlie’s stall is empty.
Tina – Morning, beauty!
Minnie nickers and gets her carrot.
Tina – Where is your boyfriend? Why was he upset?
She pats the horse and after a few minutes, makes her way to the back of the stable. There, she sees Charlie with Jim inside the corral. Jim is in the center of the corral walking Charlie in circles around him. The horse gives short blows but looks calmer.
Tina approaches the corral.
Tina – Hi, Jim!
Jim turns to her.
Jim – Hi, Miss Tina!
Tina – Charlie has been neighing all morning long. What happened?
Jim – He’s a little nervous, Miss Tina! Bette pampers him too much! When she leaves sometimes, he neighs for a day or two calling her. He wants to roam free with her!
The blonde sighs.
Tina – Poor Charlie …
Jim – I’m trying to calm him down. He is better after a couple of days.
He approaches the horse and pats him.
Tina – I brought him a carrot. Can I give it to him?
He walks Charlie toward the blonde.
Jim – Do you want a carrot, buddy?
She extends her arm beyond the fence and the horse takes in the carrot. She caresses his face.
Tina – I’m sorry, Charlie …
Jim – He’s better now.
Tina – Have you told her?
Jim – I don’t want to worry her unnecessarily. He’ll be alright!
She nods.
Tina – Let me know if I can help.
Jim – He likes the attention! Don’t you, buddy?
Charlie gives a short blow. The blonde smiles and caresses his face.
Tina – You’re a good boy, Charlie!

A day later

Tina’s hotel room, night: Tina is asleep in bed.

The image is hazy. Tina is sleeping on a beautiful and sunny field of flowers completely naked, wild flowers partially covering her body like a warm blanket. She wakes up with the sound of a soft, smooth voice calling her name. She slowly opens her eyes and faces a warm smile and a pair of beautiful brown eyes. She smiles back and dreamingly gazes at the beautiful face. The flutter in her stomach suddenly comes back. The luscious lips in front of her start moving in a sensual dance.
Bette – In this case, I’ll definitely whistle for you …
The way she speaks … that smooth voice … that smile … The smiling lips come down to her lips and give her a warm kiss. Their tongues touch and the flutter in her stomach grows stronger. The flowers fly away in the wind and she hears Charlie’s neigh in the distance. Incredible sensations travel throughout her body as goosebumps blossom on her skin … and she orgasms.

Tina suddenly wakes up. She exhales in shock. She closes her eyes again and turns to her side spooning a pillow.
Tina – Mmmm …
She smiles.

So, Bette kissed Tina and then sleeped with Joanna? If not, how Joanna was in her cabin? Did Bette give all her fucking buddies keys from her cabin? So i think she’s sleeping with her. And in that case maybe for Tina better stay away from her – this Bette just a player

I think Joanna went to Bette’s cabin univited hoping to reconnect with her, but it didn’t happen. Apparently she also gave up, recognising that Bette has found love and kissed her goodbye. That’s how I see it, at least 😅
I thought about it, but how Joanna gets the key?
We’ll see, maybe later author gives up clearing about this
I thought about the key too, but hadn’t Tina found the cabin open too and decided to just wait on the porch, the day she “lost” Minnie? Maybe Bette never locks up the cabin’s door ????

This is why I said that it is fun to find out what the readers think. Zhenya, the first thing that Bette asks Joanna when she wakes up is: “What are you doing here?” And Joanna replies: “I miss you. We haven’t been together in a while.” This is a rustic cabin in Bette’s property. I don’t think she worries about keys. As Atritonia pointed out, even Tina got in uninvited at some point.

I love the parallelism between Minnie & Charlie and Tina & Bette and how you write as for a screenplay.
Can’t wait to read what will happen at the opening!

I haven’t commented on a story in awhile as I’ve been hiding as a silent reader, but I just had to hop on here and tell you how much I absolutely love this story! So much that I kept checking back frequently hoping for a new post and you never disappoint!
Can’t wait to see how it all progresses and I also like that it hasn’t felt rushed at all.

It seems Charlie has Bette withdraws also.. just as Tina is having in her dreams. The painting of her I think will make her forget all about miss trouble making Joanna and follow her heart.
We all know she will indeed make it to the opening and be drop dead gorgeous and I think Bette is not quiet ready for the fireworks because I’m not convinced that Bette left her an invitation.
I know if Joanna can see a difference in Bette than Kit sure has and knows who has make that difference. And seeing the painting backed her theory up. Mmm… thank you loved it and can’t wait to see whats up next.
