The Ride of Your Life (Chap 1)
Tina spun around quickly shocked that the voice she heard did not belong to her new friend Alice. “I…I…I’m sorry, I have the wrong cabin” Tina stuttered feeling her face become flushed with embarrassment.
“Hey, no worries” Bette said putting her book down beside her on the seat and standing up to extend a hand to Tina. “I’m Bette Porter.”
“Tina Kennard” she replied shyly taking Bette’s hand.
“It’s nice to meet you Tina Kennard” Bette said. She couldn’t deny the electricity she felt run through her hand as her hand wrapped around Tina’s.
Tina was also feeling the sparks between the two of them. She could barely tear her eyes away from Bette’s. There was something about her, but Tina couldn’t quite pinpoint it. “Um…I’m sorry to disturb you; I should get back to my cabin.”
“Oh not a problem” Bette smiled her 100 watt smile.
Tina merely blushed a little more before stumbling her way through the door and out into the hallway. Still flushed, she stumbled into her own cabin.
Alice looked up. “What happened to you?” she asked.
“Well…I think I just met the love of my life” Tina said flopping down onto her seat.
“Excuse me?!” Alice asked trying very hard not to laugh.
“I accidentally went into the cabin next door instead of ours and there she was.”
“She?”
“Yeah, she had curly dark hair, and this mocha brown skin, and her smell…” Tina said dreamily looking out the window.
“She smelt?” Alice asked.
“No!” Tina said glaring at Alice, “but she had this aroma about her, like vanilla or something” Tina explained.
“Oh I see…so you’re a lesbian?”
“Yeah, is that a problem?”
“No, not at all! I just hope you know I don’t sleep with my housemates” Alice said as a matter of fact.
Tina merely stuck her tongue out at Alice as she threw her magazine at her.
“Well Tina, do you know where this love of your life is traveling to?” Alice asked.
“No!” Tina exclaimed, “What if she gets off the train before I can talk to her again?”

i agree, it sounds like a fun train…as long as it won’t turn into Orient Express ;)
Cool start. I’m up for pretty much any begining that involves the TiBette ship. This should be interesting.
TIBETTE! YAY! I have a thing for trains (so old school romantic, aren’t they?), so bring it on! Loved the “Do you smell like vanilla?”!!!
More please. I love TiBette stories. Are Dana and Shane going to make an appearance? Thanks for the post.
Freaking great! Im loving it! PPS!
