“Well do you know where you are going to be staying?” Tina asked.

“No, not a clue” Alice said with a giggle and was quickly joined by Tina filling the compartment with laughter.

Helena couldn’t help but lift her head off the cold window as she heard the laughter filter through the walls and fill her own little sitting space. How she wished she could be as happy. Instead she got to deal with the fact that her mother was shipping her off to yet another one of her institutions to instill in her some sort of family values or something along those lines. She couldn’t help but roll her eyes as she rested her head back against the cold frame.

“Well I have a proposition for you” Alice said leaning back in her seat.

“And what might that be?” Tina replied with a smile.

“Why don’t we move in together?” Alice smiled.

“You can’t possibly be serious?!”

“Well why wouldn’t I be serious?” Alice asked sitting up and leaning towards Tina. “You need a place to stay, I need a place to stay.”

“First off we barely know each other, and well secondly we barely know each other” Tina pointed out.

“Well I would hate to state the obvious” Alice began, “but don’t you think living together would solve that little indiscretion?”

“That is true” Tina said with a roll of her eyes.

“So there, it’s all solved!” Alice said standing up in triumph.

“Yes, but where will we be living?” Tina couldn’t help but laugh.

“Oh good question” Alice said sinking back down into her seat, “I’d have to think about that one.”

“Well while you ponder what the answer might be, I’m going to take a trip to the bathroom” Tina said standing up from her seat and walking out of the cabin leaving Alice deep in thought.

Tina was still chuckling to herself as she returned to the cabin. “You know we will have to set some ground rules” Tina said as she swung open the compartment door and then turned around to shut it tightly behind her.

“Well if we lived together, I’d follow all your rules!”
