    Ivan and Dax return to the stage at The Planet; Chandra arrives at The Planet; Announcements are made at Bette & Tina’s; Friendships are put to the test later that night at Jenny’s

    Marina: To Shane and Carmen…and to Alice and Lara…a toast.

    Jenny: Yes…and I would just like to say that regardless of what the laws say….it’s what matters here.

    Jenny points to her heart.

    Jenny: Fuck the state and Washington, I say!

    Leigh: Here, here!

    Tonya: That’s right…this is totally a spiritual thing here and it’s all about the love you guys have.

    Max: Yeah…this is pretty cool.

    Uta: True love is what you believe it to be…and as long as you each believe, then it shall be.

    Helena: Congratulations, all of you.

    Marina: Cheers.

    Everyone raises their glass to Shane and Carmen as well as to Alice and Lara, who raise theirs.  Everyone drinks and partakes in each other’s company.

    The Planet has a similar comraderie as Ivan’s performance has ended and now, everyone simply dances to the music provided by Kit who DJ’s for the evening.  Gabby dances with Dax and at the insistance of Gabby, Chandra dances with Ivan who get to know each other better.  Chandra, for once is actually entranced by someone.  The feeling appears to be mutual.

    Dax: You’re sly, I tells ya.

    Gabby: Hey, this time it might actually work.

    Dax: I’ll be sure to reward your efforts then.

    Dax and Gabby exchange a kiss.  Gabby’s cellphone rings.  She pulls the phone out of her pocket and answers.

    Gabby: Hello?

    Leigh: Hey.  Just letting you know we’re on our way back to my place.  How was the show?

    Gabby: You should have been here to see it.  How was the get-together over there?

    Leigh: Well….Carmen and Shane are engaged….and Alice and Lara are engaged.

    Gabby: Wait…what?

    Dax: Gabby?

    Leigh: Yeah…craziest thing.  But anyway…we’ll be waiting up for you to let you know how much we missed you tonight.

    Leigh smiles over the phone and Gabby can sense it.

    Gabby: Uh huh…we’ll be there soon enough.  Bye.

    Gabby hangs up.

    Gabby: Two of my exes are getting married.

    Dax: Wow.  Leigh and Uta didn’t get engaged did they?

    Gabby: Not without us, baby.

    Dax: How ’bout we get outta here and have a little show with them, hm?

    Gabby: I like that…

    Dax and Gabby begin to exit the dance floor.  They look at Chandra and Ivan still dancing together and Gabby waves.  Chandra grins and shakes her head.

    4. and I appreciate always a lot how you dare to follow lifes of minor character like Dax or Gabby and making them as interesting as the major ones (if not even more :P )
