They’ve made their calls.  Tonight’s the night and it’s at Bette and Tina’s.  Tonight an announcement shall be made and friends are invited to be there for it.  Shane leaves her workplace, the Wax and prepares for the evening.  Lacey, newly hired at the Wax prepares for her evening as well which doesn’t involve any announcements, but a night out.  Lacey arrives home where Robin awaits with open arms and a kiss.

Lacey: Still going tonight?

Robin: Oh yes.

Lacey: What about Dax’s girlfriend…er…girlfriends?

Robin: I think one of ‘em is.  The other two have some other thing to go to.

Lacey: Oh.  That’s a weird relationship.

Robin: Eh…as long as Dax is happy with it…

Lacey: So who’s she gonna be tonight?

Robin: I think she’s bringing back the cowboy.

Lacey: Nice.

As Robin and Lacey prepare to head off to The Planet, The Planet itself is closed at the moment as it begins its nightly transformation from cafe to nightclub.  The performers for tonight’s show begin to trickle in, including Ivan and Dax.  Dax has Gabby with her as they enter and are welcomed in by Helena.

Dax: Where is they had to go tonight?

Gabby: Some get-together.  Leigh’s ex invited her so she and Uta are going to it.

Dax: Oh.  That’s cool…we’ll just see ‘em later then.  I’m glad you’re here, though.

Gabby: They should be here…

Dax sighs.

Dax: I don’t feel like arguing tonight.  I need to be in the right mindset for tonight’s show.

Gabby pulls herself close to Dax and kisses her on the lips.

Gabby: You’ll do just fine.

Both smile at each other and enjoy the moment.  Meanwhile, Ivan stretches and greets Kit who overlooks everything happening in the club.

Ivan: Howdy, stranger.

Kit: Oh, please.  We ain’t strangers.

Kit laughs.

Ivan: I have to admit, it feels good to be doing this again.  It’s been a while.

Kit: Why the lack of shows?

Ivan: Just been busy with work.  That and I needed to clear my head for a while.

KIt: Did it work?

Ivan: …I think so.  Selling my share of this place really helped out a lot.  Gave me less to worry about.  How’s Marina doing?

Kit: Great!  Yep…she’s happy to be back and runnin’ the daytime operation here.
