Laughing happily, Molly gets up from the bed and heads to the bathroom.

Lying alone in their bed, Shane thinks about just how happy she is. She thought she would be nervous and scared this morning but was surprised to feel just how calm and centered she actually felt, even with the drama of the previous evening. Carmen might have shaken Molly, but in the end, she was confident that Molly knew how much she loved her and trusted that this wedding would happen. Shane intended to make sure that Carmen did not ruin this evening for them.

Walking back into the bedroom, Molly throws on some sweats and sneakers, as Shane lies in bed, her eyes following her around the room. She loved to just watch Molly. Every move she made, every motion, every step, set Shane’s heart aflutter. No woman had ever had that effect on her and she relished the feeling.

After Molly had finished pulling herself together, she came over to the bed and kneeled, straddling Shane’s legs, facing her. Placing her hand on Shane’s cheek, she confidently says, “I’ll see you later.”

Shane smiles as she brings her hands to Molly’s face. “I’ll be waiting for you,” she says, as she pulls Molly to her. She kisses her tenderly. Resting her forehead against Molly’s she whispers, “I love you.”

“I love you, too,” Molly coos back. She brushes her lips against Shane’s one last time before she climbs back off the bed and leaves for her mother’s.

As Shane watches her leave, she brings her fingers to her lips and lays them there, still feeling the tingle of Molly’s kiss. Realizing that the next time she kisses Molly will be after they have committed to each other, she smiles contentedly.

Sitting on the couch, dressed in a sheer, white, linen, buttoned down shirt over a white tank top and a pair of white linen pants, Shane anxiously bounces her knee up and down. “Shay, are you ready yet?” Shane asks.

“Yeah,” Shay says, as he emerges from the hallway, dressed in a pair of khakis and a white button down shirt.

Standing up and walking towards him, Shane asks, “Do you have our rings?”

“Right here,” Shay says proudly, patting his pants’ pocket.
