    Part 3

    She did not want to wake her, instead opting to brush a gold lock of hair from the delicate eyebrow, it had fallen across. 
    Stretching out her little finger, she allowed it to graze Tina’s forehead, guiding the errant lock of hair towards her temple and behind her ear.
    Tina began to stir at the contact and Bette held her breath worried that she had woken her up. But Tina’s body merely shifted, adjusting herself closer to the brunette as her eyelids barely flickered. The hand which had rested on her chest moved, and draped itself around Bette’s waist while her head thought a softer resting place from bette’s shoulder to the sofa’s armrest.
    Bette looked on, entranced for a couple of seconds, before resuming her own tentative breathing, when she heard that Tina’s had settled back down to its own shallow and steady pattern.
    She decided it best to not move again, instead settling for her purely unhindered, secretive observation of the love of her life. 
    Her eyes fell on Tina’s chest, just barely revealed by the ‘V’ in the neckline of her t-shirt. She studied the rise and fall as the blonde breathed with quiet rhythm, her gaze travelled  along the elegant expanse of her neck spotting the faint pulse beneath the soft skin.
    But the attraction remained on her face and the way Tina’s lips were parted and the powerful need took her over once again. She wanted to touch, not only with her fingers but she wanted to explore with her mouth. And those lips were so inviting, so irresistible.
    So she moved closer, wetting her lips in anticipation, reacting with a flurry a goosebumps as Tina’s gentle exhale registered on the light coating of moisture like a cool breeze. 
    Her hand accompanied her movement, her thumb brushing lightly over the full lower lip along its entire length and then downwards unfurling it tenderly.
    Sleepy hazel eyes fluttered open, meeting soft brown ones as Bette leant forward to capture the tantalising lips.
    Tina’s body reacted immediately, instinctively to the gentle caress coiling herself up to Bette’s contours in a well practised manner and the brunette responded straightaway, pulling the younger woman tight into her body and a few safer inches from the edge of the sofa.

    13. Great update. Believe it or not google did not give the translation. I found it on MSN. I don’t know what the Mpenzi means but, the rest of it translates to “the laughter of a child brightens the house.” In my comments of last chapter, I said, Tina needs her own babies. This was a fantastic chapter, as all your writings have, this one showed the very depths of their love for each other and what their love could mean for a child in their lives. Loved it. More please! Thanks so much for sharing.

    17. Ah, yes, it is time for Bette and Tina to move into the next phase of their lives, Tina is ready to be a momma… That one was easy to figure out. I love this story and the deep love that these two women share with one another. I love the way you write and this story is one of my favorites. Thank you for creating this sequel.     21. Thanks so much for this chapter. The cubs are absolutely adorable and Tina is so sweet with them.I hope Augustine takes Bette’s advise and slows down a bit so that she doesn’t wear herself out. She’s a wonderful surrogate mother.
