    tina and bette: Friday night

    Bette: Jenna isnt the only thing that Denise and Richard gave me Tina. Just as Bette was going to continue her story she heard screaming coming from Jennas room. Bette got up and ran to the room with Tina in tow. Jenna honey wake up baby! Jenna was thrashing around in her bedshe was having a nightmare. Jenna wake up. Jenna opened her eyes and started crying. She hugged Bette tightly while Bette said soothing words to her.

    Tina: Bette, listen, Im going to go. Jenna needs you right now. Bette looked up at Tina and Jenna stopped crying. She looked at her Auntie and saw that she was sad. She loved her auntie so much and somehow felt safer with Tina there. She didnt want Tina to leave.

    Bette: No Tdont go just yet please.

    Tina: I should Bette. Take care of Jenna tonight, well get together and talk more this weekend okay? Just as Tina was about to turn around and leave she heard a sweet little innocent voice that she had never heard before. Please dont leave Ms. T. Jenna looked up, her eyes still watery, holding onto Bette. Bette looked at Jenna, relieved that she had finally spoken and then looked up at Tina.

    Bette: See T. She wants you to stayI want you to staypleasejust for a little longer. Bette was almost pleading. It had been so long that she had confided in anyone and needed to have Tina by her side for just a while longer.

    Tina: Well how can I say no to those faces? Tina smiled and got onto the bed with Jenna and Bette. Bette picked up a book and started reading. Soon Tina and Jenna were asleep on the bed and Bette took a deep breath looking at them. I cant believe what I am seeingthe two most important girls in my life are sleeping right next to me. Bette put the book down and lay her head on the pillow, gently drifting off to sleep with her two loves next to her
