Bette always looked for clues from the women who approached her. She was pretty good at reading them and staying away from the kind troubles she had when she first came out in college. In fact she never had to approach a woman herself, they always came to her. But she would feel them out about relationships before spending anytime on them, And would back away from anything that she felt was going to cause her drama. She felt too focused for drama to side track her. She thought that there at way too many other women without all the drama out there to put up with a bunch of crap.

She was having enough drama with Alice and Alice wasn’t attached to anyone but her. “Shit Alice is enough drama for four lesbians at once.” Bette knew if drunk enough she would hit on a woman in front of their girlfriends. She only did as a power trip thing when drunk. She in her pass almost got hit by someone’s just as drunk girlfriend. One of her college buddies, Kara helped her out of that one. But told her “I don’t care how cute you think you are, how drunk you are, I won’t always be there you bail you’re ass out of situations like that. So cut that shit out. ” Kara was right about not always being there. She died six years ago from lung cancer. She thought ‘For you I promised the I would quit. But Kara this is just the one I have to go after and suffer the consequences. But I promise that I won’t be drunk when I go after her’. she smiled looking up from her drive she mouthed ”Thank you Kara for keeping me from trouble. But you know dykes and their drama. Life wouldn‘t be the same without it.” she smiled. “Shit, but I do want to limit the drama that happens in this dyke‘s life. What do I do about Al?”.

Bette‘s thoughts shift to more pleasant things, “Now what trouble can I get you into Ms Kennard?” Bette said to herself as she pulled into her driveway. “I don’t want to actually get you into trouble, but I do want to get you into my life and definitely into my bed.” she smiles to herself and said, “It could happen. It will happen. I make things happen that‘s what I do best”, then she thought ‘Damn, but what do I do with Alice?’
