In the beginning – Form As A Work of Art Chapter 3
“Yes, come to think of it you can. Send Eric an invitation to the this next weeks artist’s dinner Catherine is going to be there and her wants to try again to get her to create a large piece for his office wall. It would be the perfect setting to make something like that happen, don’t you thin?”
“Hey make two people happy at the same time and we get paid, getting paid that’s what I like most about the idea.” James said with a smile “I’ll send it by email and by snail mail get to be sure he gets it.”
“Oh, I personally already invited him. I just want to extend the cordiality of a written request for his presence,” Bette said in her most formal voice. “I
wanted to also make sure that he brought his guest from tonight. She seemed to be enjoying the artwork on display. What‘s her name Tina something?”
She knew her name she paid very careful attention while they were being introduced and she was very good at remembering names. And everything else she noticed about Tina before and after Eric introduced them. When Eric walked away to talk to Catherine Opie about her print and left Tina alone she saw strength in Tina, As Eric was about to walk over to speak to Catherine, “I think I’ll just stay right here,” Tina said.
Bette thought that this must be just one of the many facets of Tina. Because the business that she is in is very cut throat at times. Bette studied Tina very intensely. She noticed her slight accent. That her eyes where a beautiful shade of hazel. Tina seemed soft spoken almost yet confident, she saw how secure that she was with herself as Eric walked off. Bette told of Tina as a piece art that she needed the study under different setting. You know that piece that takes you breath away that you just have to have.
Bette also remember her name because in Bette’s line of business you had to remember names or someone could get completely offended and she would lose their business. Bette wasn’t going to lose a customer over something a simple as a name. Her mentors train her well.

This is different from the other B&T get together’s. Bette dumping Alice for Tina; Bette is going to have her hands full with Alice. Alice may give Bette a hard time, or even worst, give Tina a hard time. Great update. PPS
thank you for this carnt wait for the next one
I have thoroughly enjoyed the first three chapters of this story, looking forward to Bette’s dream and if it half as good as Tina’s, I am going to need a shower.
As I wrote this I kept imagining that Bette wouldn’t have been drawn to a weak woman to chase after. I saw Tina just as strong and driven as her but had a few things, character traits, that Bette lacked, yet needed in her life. We tend to draw towards those who are somewhat like us, yet possess what we desire to gain in our own lives. Like we are going to magical become more like them :) by their presence.
Another great update, Kimberly. Thank you and can’t wait for the next update. I agree with you Bette wouldn’t be drawn to a weak woman for sure. Thank you again :)
I’m enjoying this story. It’s interesting to see your take on what was going on in their minds. I think you’re right about Bette being drawn to Tina’s strength and intelligence but also her warmth and sensitivity.
Heya Kim, this story continues to grow on me. You have brought in many aspects of Bette and Tina, and filled the gaps nicely with your perspective. Thanks a bunch for this chapter, and of course I am looking forward to Bette’s dream! *Grrrrrr* ;-)
That was great and every intersting, now let see Bette’s hot dream. Please post more, thanks!
