She enter her home and thought ‘How am I going to deal with Alice to limit the drama.? It’s not like I’m cheating on her, yet. I don’t want to cheat on her for the five weeks that we’ve been together I’ve been faithful.’ Of course Bette’s eyes had wondered. ‘But shit I’m human. And I have studied to have an attention to beauty. And it not like I’ve been leading her to believe that ‘it’ our relationship was something that it wasn’t. It was never meant to be forever’.

She told Alice from the start that she didn’t do long term relationships. Alice convinced her to allow her to be her guinea pig. Bette was tired of having to explain herself to every other woman she was with, because half of them wanted a steady girlfriend. She didn’t blame them, that’s just not want she was wanting at the time. A steady girlfriend just meant Bette had to divide her focus and she didn’t want to get distracted from the ten year goals she set back in college. She met most of her goals all but, two. She felt that she had to maintain her current goals for at least another year before she focused on the last two. She was willing let Alice be her guinea for that reason. Bette eventually wanted a long term relationship but only when she felt she could give the person what that needed from her most, time. And Alice said that she could handle it if Bette was as bad as she told her she was about being a workaholic and an extremely A type personality. But it turned out not to be true. Because Alice couldn’t handle it.

Bette was extremely beautiful and very smart and she knew that she lacked in a lack of areas. Patience was one of them. And her patience with Alice had run it’s course. Lack of “Alice level” patience and the fact that she wanted to free herself to go after Tina . Bette thought not only about how beautiful Tina because that was the first thing she noticed about her, but thought about her line of work and personality she sensed during their short conversation that evening. “She must be as busy or busier then I am. Has to be driven even more so than me to get where she is already. So she has got to be a better fit for than Alice anyway. Alice is too needy, too clingy. And she talks to damn much to boot.” She said to herself as she finished up get ready for bed. She was so worn that all she did was wash her makeup off brush her teeth and strip off her outwear. She looks over to her bed, “Great an empty bed, void of Alice.” She sighed “Thank you there is a god. And his last name is not Pieszecki”. “Fuck! I do sound like her, five short weeks and she‘s got me babbling like a fool. That girl has got to go. Keep her as a friend but she has to go”.

’Boy this is going to be hard, Alice can be so damn sensitive at times. And this is sure to be one of those times’, she thought as she laid herself to bed. Tired as she usual was after an event like tonight. Usually she would has an adrenaline crash within a day or two of events. She didn’t think was going to happen this time, because Tina was on her mind. ‘Now how should I go about pursuing Ms Kennard?’ Bette fatigue overwhelmed her as she thought about Tina. And started to drift off to sleep. Yawning she thought, ‘My planning will have to wait until tomorrow or I might pull some stupid crap like Alice tries pull over on me. Well it’s wasn’t all bad the sexscapade in the box at the opera was pretty hot. But sex does not a relationship make’ “But I know who will be in my dreams tonight. And from the way she watched me most of the evening, I’m sure to be in hers.” she said as she fell asleep picturing Tina wrapped in her arms.
