    Bette’s Friday night and Tina’s Sauturday morning, but not in that order. (From my last story you can tell my mind jumps around as I write. Hope that you are able to follow) For all you NC-17 fans the next chapter I promise to work on Bette’s Friday dream :) Stay tuned.

    James spoke again, Bette hadn‘t heard him the first time she was lost in her thoughts of Tina, “Kennard I think but I will check the guest list. Did you want me to send invitation directly to her? James had given her a slightly odd look when she said “what her name“ and then phased out, but didn’t say anything just thinking that Bette was a bit more tired then usual. Bette knew Tina Kennard’s name and she knew all the while here Tina was here that one Ms Tina spent more of her time watching Bette than looking at the art of display. That’s because Bette was doing the same.

    “No sending one to Eric would be just fine. I’m pretty sure he’ll drag her along. She seemed to be quite the people person. I’m sure Eric thinks that bringing her will push him up on the evolution chart a bit.” she laughed. “Okay bad joke. I’m tired let me get out of here before I start talking like Alice.” she said and then thought ‘Oh my god that was like Alice’ she thought ‘I have got to cut that girl loose asap’. “Good night James, I’m out of here.” as she turns from him and heads for the door.”

    “Good night Bette see you tomorrow afternoon to finish up those invoices, right?” he said with a smile.

    “Yes, James. I’ll be here by 1PM. Kim and Ed can handle the gallery until we get in. You’ve trained them very well.”

    “Well, I’ve leaned from the best, bye Bette get home safe.”

    “Good night, James” she smiles and head out the door.

    On her short drive home she didn’t think about the many things that she needed to do as she normally would after an art show opening. She thought of one thing and one thing only. The lovely Ms Tina Kennard. Well actually two. The other was how to brake things off with Alice without too much damage.

    Bette’s mind shifted for a moment. Bette wasn’t above seducing someone else girl. She did it often enough without knowing that was what she was doing. As often as other women came on to her she was sure that some of them had girlfriends or boyfriends and for that matter she knew after the fact on some occasions that some of them were in fact married. But Bette avoided drama of her own making. But she couldn’t control whether anyone lied to her about their relationship status.

    1. This is different from the other B&T get together’s. Bette dumping Alice for Tina; Bette is going to have her hands full with Alice. Alice may give Bette a hard time, or even worst, give Tina a hard time. Great update. PPS

    3. I have thoroughly enjoyed the first three chapters of this story, looking forward to Bette’s dream and if it half as good as Tina’s, I am going to need a shower.

    4. As I wrote this I kept imagining that Bette wouldn’t have been drawn to a weak woman to chase after. I saw Tina just as strong and driven as her but had a few things, character traits, that Bette lacked, yet needed in her life. We tend to draw towards those who are somewhat like us, yet possess what we desire to gain in our own lives. Like we are going to magical become more like them :) by their presence.

    6. I’m enjoying this story. It’s interesting to see your take on what was going on in their minds. I think you’re right about Bette being drawn to Tina’s strength and intelligence but also her warmth and sensitivity.
